One of my absolute favs! 10/10 (which is a rarity for me). I just love that little guitar break that pops in repetedly.

rubbish

again, a job at the NME awaits I think ;)

Unlike my husband, I rather like this song, it's not the best on the album, but I do enjoy it. It makes me feel a little bit sad sometimes though. I'll give it a 7

10

It's amazing. I love the sentiment and concept of this song, and most of all the last line which is lovely.

I adore this song. 10. I' never get tired of it.

This song is severely overrated. It's okay, but nothing special. It's only saved by the last verse, which is Moz at his self-deprecating best. And it annoys me because everytime I hear it I am reminded of three traumatic things I have witnessed firsthand:

1) Morrissey taking off his shirt onstage <shudder>
2) Morrissey clapping in that highly annoying, exaggerated way that he fancies these days
3) Morrissey reaching to squeeze imaginary moobs/testicles as he sings

None of which are memories that I wish to relive. Damn my brain!!!

I give this one a 7.

good song from Quarry, this is one from the songs on that particular album
which proved that Morrissey's singin is still improving
[the last tour was a good example too]

Do you take suggestions for what the next day's song will be? If so, I want to see how my personal favorite stands up.

thanks

p.s. For Let Me Kiss You, I agree completely with nugz. Even though its not one of my top favorites, I always find myself singing along with passion.

It's in alphabetical order. Well, sort of. Except that all the songs that start with 'The' are going to be sorted under 'T', which is incredibly aggravating to me... but one day, with extensive therapy, I will learn to let go.

So, the next song will be "Let The Right One Slip In". Brace yourself!

Totally wonderful song! I never realised that I'd grow to love it so much.
But now I can't imagine a concert without it anymore. A true 10 and even naysayers must admit that it was one of the songs which helped bring Moz back into the public eye ... which in turn meant we got another album and a lot of concerts in Europe and now in the US.

But I must say that I can't understand why Ammunition is so low down in this rating. That is another true gem!

Really like this song, though it's not fanatastic. A grower. 8

Well, I can... and it's a wonderful thing. In my imagination, instead of boring old "Let Me Kiss You," Morrissey sings "We'll Let You Know" and does that glorious falsetto in the middle part. Ah, memories...
