10!! I wish this song went on forever. One of his best crooning songs ever!!

My Love...wherever you are...
I hope you are feeling better. We miss you xo

A solid 10, best track on Your Arsenal after "We'll Let You Know", and surely one of his most creative songs. It's Nevin's greatest song.

8

It's very good song (great actually) but compared to other YOUR ARSENAL tracks like Seasick, National Front Disco, and Tomorrow, it comes a little short.

:)

Oh yeah, I havent been online much lately skank :p

Ill resend it.
so like whats up ?

Not much, it's been a crappy weekend..... totally lame

So lame that I'm watching a soccer game and drinking a bud lite with my brother.....

I'd rather be tanning at the beach

I can't imagine you doin' that
but MMMKay!

Since when did you become butch....and like...into soccer? :p

I love this song even more for the fact it follows 'Seasick Yet Still Docked'.

"Please wait ...
Don't lose faith"

By the time this poll ends... Morrissey will probably have a new album out....with new songs...therefore, the Top 100 will be incomplete :p

I felt like i should give this song a 10 seeing as it's about me and all.....

Hopefully!!:) This song is really beautiful, he's voice sounds amazing, a 10.

an absolutely gorgeous song.
what a tragedy Moz moved on from Nevin, just as he was starting to write his best material (also penned You're Gonna Need).
if only modern-day Moz albums had more songs of this calibre...

It gets a solid 7 from me!!!!

But imagine if the song had been on Kill Uncle, with that record's tinny production. Yikes!

I think if Moz had gone on tour with Nevin he maybe would've continued with him. He just recently stated he didn't continue because he "didn't know him" (and according to Nevin in Jewel In the Crown, didn't attempt to get to know him).

A more minor issue, but there's the visual aspect of Morrissey's bandmates, too. Nevin appeared too...normal.

yeah you might be right...
an interesting recent comment from Nevin was that he provided Moz with very basic demos and expected the two of them to work extensively on them. he was shocked when King Leer appeared on the album in its finished form; Nevin had effectively provided a sketch of a song requiring lots of work.
it was only for the later stuff such as 'I Know It's Gonna Happen' when Nevin realised he needed to provide a much more polished piece of music for Moz in the first place...
