Hey, first vote, cool. :D This song is one of my favorites from Strangeways, which is my favorite Smiths album. I think it is extremely underrated. The lyrics are very clever and interesting, and the music is great even if Morrissey never seemed that pleased with it.

I know I should have formally done this 79 songs ago, but I'd like to take the opportunity here to officially thank you for doing a fantastic job running this, Houdini. :) You've done a much better job than I ever could have, I'm unreliable you see. :o And just starting a thread for each song with a straightforward poll is a much better idea than that e-mail survey thing.

Thanks Kuiper, and Celibate and AA.
I'm glad we got this far, hope you will all stick around for 160 more polls or so:rolleyes:

We're at a third now, so let's also hope I started something I can finish.

A great Smiths song; deserves a 9.
It has colour, energy, hand claps, and a spoken word outro!
Who could ask for more?

8/10....... Typical me, typical me, typical me.................

This is the one that hooked me at 13...."With a hard faced...THREE WORD gesture"

Sorry boys and girls, never liked it, don't think I ever will. Very boring, I give it a 5. Now I'll quickly run away from the people who want to hang me...
