When i first started playing this, i could not get enough of it!
Sadly after 100s of times playing this track, it has got a bit dull. Saying that though, it is a 'cool' and great song :)

Great "Comeback" song...even though Irish Blood was released first...Thought it was a bit trendy at first in 2002..like he was trying to cater to his newfound "culture" audience...but it grew on me....5 years later I still think it's a winner..and thought it was great that he chose it to close out the last night in Pasadena....

Quite possibly the only truly wonderful Morrissey single since the Bona Drag era. This gets as good a reaction as any of the best Smiths songs when played live or at the indie disco!
It's witty, poetic, upbeat, tuneful, melodic and brilliantly arranged.
The line about 'the rich and the poor and the not very rich' is vintage Morrissey-pop gobbledegook!

Fantastic tune, I first heard a snippet of it on the 'Importance of being Morrissey' and was instantly hooked, what a way to come back into the mainstream.

This is just one of those songs that never did it for me.

I think I'm missing something because this song is immensely popular.

Certainly a great single and as such it's a ten out of ten. But when it comes as a regular song and an album track I'm less convinced, compared to some album songs it's just witty but really nothing more. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing but still...

I'm gonna ahve to wait a while before I can rate it:(

Eight. Because I think its a great song, but with comparably sub-standard lyrics and music. Sounds great BLASTING from a car stereo however, and it always makes me think of southern California and the hispanic ghettos for some reason.

This is a great single, and its definately the type of single I hope Morrissey keeps putting out. I give it a 9 :)

10

But now i regret my vote on everyday is like sunday, I like this one much more...
"you have never been in love..."

i know, let's all be bellends and give every song either a 9 or 10

It's a good song, I remember the first time I heard it at the Royal Albert Hall and thought- yes.
But it's been overplayed. Sick of it now.

not really that keen on it, to be honest.
