Could have been a single if it wasn't 5:17 long.

I wasnt mad about the studio version but the live version is very powerful. On the strength of that it gets a 7 in my book!

A cracking piece of music; well done Mr Whyte!
But the lyrics don't really interest or excite me so I give it a 7.
It is a live highlight, though, as virtually everyone on this thread is pointing out!

I love the lyrics...song is far above average but not his best effort...maybe an 8 or 9

It was this song, about 18 in of a 21 song set, that I deemed it acceptable to take a bathroom break during the show in Columbus last Friday.

Just not a big fan of it.

It's an OK song. The lyrics are awful. I don't know why Morrissey keeps singing about east london thugs like he's one of them. What about Reader Meet Author? Didn't he even read those lyrics?

While I love the refined album release, hearing it live gave me goosebumps.

Something of a "Jack the Ripper" track for me. Powerful, powerful song buried on the b-side of a single. Lost to anyone other than Morrissey fans.

Ganglord altogether is an instant classic!!!! Well done and certainly passionate. The studio recording is second best to the live rendition.

ooh, come on. must be time for a new song or two by now.
think I'm getting addicted to this top 100 thread thing. I need my fix!:)

doesn't say much to me about my life! however, great music with some interesting lyrics...7

you people still seem to be voting as if the tracks are being compared to West Lifes latest single. If we go by most of you all Moz's music is 8+
