While we wait for the new album to arrive, let us go about rating the songs we know, on a daily basis, and compile our own Morrissey/Smiths Top 100.
And instead of chronologically, let's do them alphabetically.

This is a tyoical Boz track - and I certainly enjoy typical Boz tracks. Fro the msuic alone, it would have been a better opener than "I Will See You In Far Off Places".

Lyricly this is not a disappointment, this is an elegnt "diss" who is both mean and witty.

Hmmm, I would guess that he read Dior's 1957 autobiography as it seems like something right up his alley. The real Christian Dior died in 1957 and umm, was likely never in the position to "impregnate women" if you know what I mean. He died young and unhealthy and rumors swirled about his death.

But the song might also be a veiled reference to the current Dior brand. He may have been disappointed that former Dior menswear designer Hedi Slimane used rockstars like Pete Doherty as inspiration. He created a very slim male silhouette - one dear Moz couldn't really wear. (And inspired Karl Lagerfeld to lose lots of weight but that's for another forum.)

I really enjoy this song.
It sounds so different than the rest of ROTT, which is great.
The sounds itself is very good quality,
The lyrics are interesting, and different from the rest of ROTT,
Morrissey's voice sounds amazing, and he sings in ways he didn't get to sing in the ROTT album.

I gave it a 3. I cannot imagine there is any song worse than this in the entire catalogue. No other song will get this score by me. I think I managed to listed to it 3 times.

ooh, I love this song!
gorgeous melody, imaginative arrangment, intriguing, poetic lyrics.
sounds like Moz from the good old days i.e. no mention of face dragged through shit, kegs between legs, smelly uniforms, being entered by a key, and all the other many recent lyrical atrocities!
