Morrissey and Taxis

Yes, but the motion of texas excites him. Texas is BIG, you know, like some girls? Get it?

And Bush is from Texas. That's pretty exciting.

Maybe it's not "taxis," the plural of cars-for-hire. Maybe it's taxis:

n., pl. tax·es (tăk'sēz).
  1. Biology. The responsive movement of a free-moving organism or cell toward or away from an external stimulus, such as light.
  2. Medicine. The moving of a body part by manipulation into normal position, as after a dislocation, fracture, or hernia.

I think Kate Bush is from Kent, England. But she is a fine singer and sadly missed from the music scene.
"Will you peel it back and bite me?".... I'm not sure. Can our American friends enlighten us on the phrase "Bite me" which I gather is a derogative term of dismissal?

CG was just making a joke. George Bush is from Texas. the phrase "bite me" has nothing to do with this lyric, i think he literally means "bite me." but playfully.

A friend of mine used to have an apartment in the Smithfield Building in Manchester. Her next door neighbour was a friend of Morrissey and he used to visit quite a lot (while everyone said he was in LA). On quite a few occasions when she had to get taxis, the drivers used to tell her that they had just dropped off or picked up Morrissey from her building. It was a bit of a running gag for us. "I had that Morrissey in here last night"!!

Yes, she lived near me - probably not anymore. :p I have been pointed out her old house in Eltham or somewhere on numerous occasions.

I like how CG thinks, sometimes it's strange but what's wrong with that? :)

I think you're on to something! :D

You can leave in a taxi. If you can't get a taxi, you can leave in a huff. If that's too soon, you can leave in a minute and a huff.
