Is this how it goes?
He sits around on his arse for between 2 and 6 years.
He gets off his arse.
During the time he was on his arse, he wrote some lyrics.
He goes into the studio with a band.
The band plays some music they have composed.
Moz sings over the music and tries to find the most suitable written lyrics, and best vocal delivery for those lyrics. Where he should sing, where there should be breaks, silence, pauses, from his voice. Moz figures out how to sing the song, what notes to hit, and how to enunciate the words. In essence, he lays down his vocal tracks.
This takes approximately a month of studio time.
Then the album is shipped off, where it is "mixed" or put together by sound engineers & producers.
Moz slaps on a sleeve.
The record company does some shitty advertising campaign.
Moz tours or he doesn't.
Moz makes a video or he doesn't.
And then he goes right back to sitting on his arse for the remainder of the year, approximately 8 months (if he tours) to 11 months (if he does not tour), out of 12 months, he's got nothing to do.
