reading the thread on kylie whats-her-name,,,got me thinking,,

knowing morrisseys utter contempt for monarchy and the royal family,,do you think moz if awarded would accept ,,obe,,mbe,,or the big one knighthood,,

i get the feeling he would stick 2 fingers up to the first 2 but a knighthood,,
,,i think he would be tempted ego wise...

but then again bowing in front of the queen,,,,,maybe not..

Morrissey hates Royal Family and establishment.

He would never accept OBE/MBE/Knighthood.

If he does he would lose credibility.

I heard that his mother slapped him hearing about The Queen Is Dead.

there is more a chance of me getting married to ron jeremy out in los angeles then there is a chance he would accept knighthood.

though the odds did get better with t what the california courts decided.:p

As bad as her albums continue 2 get she'll reduce herself 2 getting knighted just for the sad publicity. How she went from, 'TCM' to, 'PJ' is just CHILLING!

Just think though, if he accepted I don't think it'd make a mockery of him so much as it would the royal family. Anyway I don't think we have too much to worry about as I doubt he'll be knighted anytime soon...
 
If that happens, I'm waiting for that day because his response would be... just... awesome. :D

I think Sir Steven sound nice, but maybe they could make an exception and call him Sir Morrissey. :)
 
I bet he got his anti monarchist views from his Irish Catholic parents, so I doubt his mum was offended by The Queen is Dead.

Why do people always portray her as some sort of conservative? She was a vegetarian before Morrissey was.
