There has been much talk on the discussion board about an idea that all the Mozfans here to vote for a Morrissey video on MTV Total Request Live. The decision for the video is "Suedehead." So this is a post asking everyone who frequents this site to pitch in and vote for the Viva Hate classic on Friday, Feb. 5, before 3:30 PM.

Here's how to vote. Go to

and click on "Play My Song". Then scroll to the bottom of the page and vote under "Other". Or call the number 1-800-DIALMTV. And tell your friends to vote as well!

I thought you might be interested in seeing this. I gave "A Taste of Honey" by Shelagh Delaney to Morrissey with a self-addressed envelope when I was on stage with him at his Sheffield "in Person" gig in February 1995.

I wasn't really sure whether he would sign it or not - but you can imagine my amazement when it came back in the post "with openness of heart".
