That's very touching - and a welcome slap in the face to all those people who say that Morrissey doesn't give a damn about his fans. Sadly, though, I'm sure he's now going to be bombarded with books, etc. in the mail, demanding to be signed.

Thanks for all the comments on my book! Unfortunately, I didn't receive anything else back with the book, and certainly not an address - even if I had, I think I'd have kept it for myself!
I received the book back less than a month after the gig and, yes, I think it does demonstrate in some small way that Morrissey does care for his fans.

that's very cool. if i can share my little tidbit of morrissey sharing. i was at a show at the house of blues in los angeles a few days before my birthday. i was upstairs in the vip room and there he was! a co-worker of mine went up to him after he was kind enough to take a few publicity shots the band that was playing, and had him sign a plate for me. it said "happy birthday marie. love morrissey." lets just say i could never bet a better birthday present than that. i

That address is his old house, which he lived in as a teenager. It's in Stretford, Manchester. I'd post the photos of when I went to see it myself, but I'm not computer-literate enough!
