The Essential Discussion of Sandie Shaw's Feet

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

In a recording studio somewhere in London in late 1966...

"Sandie, this is your new single."

*plays the piano*

"Whot? Do you insist me to sing this rubbish?"

"Look, your record sale is not as good as Lulu or Petura Clarke, don't be so choosey!"

But Puppet was Eurovision, Kewps. Eurovision knows no laws of taste except its own.

I hear Jarvis has rescinded his offer to get involved this year. I wonder what went on there.

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Yep, bit disappointed with hearing about it.
Jarvis was joking with Morrissey and used it for publicity?

Look forward to seeing annual freak show in May. :D

I have absolutely no idea - I can't even remember where I heard it.

I never thought it was a very good idea for the likes of Morrissey or Jarvis to get involved in the competitive sense, at least not as performers, but I'd love to have seen one or better still, both of them, running the thing; Morrissey all stilted facetiousness, Jarvis all "Well, that were bollocks, weren't it?" :)

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Hugh posted a thread on off-topic sometime last week, also it was reported on tabloids.

Haha, it might happen in future if the right project such as a film soundtrack which manages to get interest from both of them.

Russell Brand's appearance of promo video will generate more news and gossips?

"Cocker Pulls Out" :)D) I remember it, now.

Ooh, I think there just might be the teensiest clash of artistic personalities if they had to produce something like that together.

The mind boggles as to what Mr Brand would bring to a Moz vid. Maybe he'll join Boz in a loincloth extravaganza....

Haha, have you watched A Man Called Horse last Sunday night on BBC 2?

It was my first viewing, immediately remembered your fixation of loincloths! :D

I saw that film, or its sequel, way back when I was a young 'un. I never saw what people saw in Richard Harris, I must say.

I think 'fixation of loincloths' is perhaps an overstatement; I find entertainment in a wide range of mens' undergarments. ;)

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Hehehe, fair enough. :p

It's a considence that Savoy's auction and the film was on TV.

Members of Academy Awards are very harsh on some British actors.
Richard Burton, Harris and Peter O'Toole are deserved to win an Oscar, but they didn't.

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Hello virtie.

I decided to this is the successor of Post whatever..., what do you think?

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

are we talking about her feet or just general chit chat? you can see she has tights on in this pic! so much for bare feet.

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

If you wish, but i would seem that there was alot to be said for Sandie Shaw's feet :p

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Awww...Sandie's gorgeous!

On off-topic most of the threads end up irrelvant stuff.
I like the title and most of us like her anyway.

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

I'm glad Morrissey never openly shows interest in wresling.
Boxing is more interesting than wresling.

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

There are many interesting films about boxing, very little films dealt with wrestling.

That is because they are too busy being "Grrrr!" to make films about themselves. I've actually had a go at floor-wrestling (sort of martial arts variant) and I wasn't too bad. And I was very "Grrrr!" indeed. :D

Re: Puppet on a string (colour) "BARE FOOT"

Wow, you can be a mud wrestler!

The other day I was watching Weakest Link, one of the question was about Sandie and it also mentioned The Smiths' Hand in glove. :D
