I know nothing of "real" football, so I'm writing this before I scurry off

Gold Cup : July 26, 2009

USA 1 - Mexico 2 :guitar:

 Take it back, take it back!!!!!! ;)

USA 2 - Mexico 0. An early goal from Stuart Holden, with a late clincher from supersub Kenny Cooper.

The only USA-Mexico game that matters is on August 12 anyway. Which also will end 2-0 in our favor. :D

Game was in New Jersey; of course the crowd was about 80-20 in favor of Mehico...

Ouch. That one hurt. Granted it was a USA "C"-team against a Mexican "A-" team, but still...5-0? Clearly i did not see that one coming.

No no no. That was not Mexicos A team. Mexicans in NJ? I had no idea they were there in such numbers. I guess we really are all over the place. But come on, it least wasnt Los Angeles.

Oh yeah, on tv it was quite loud, VERY pro-Mexico. I prefer when we play them in, say, Columbus. In November. Cold with lotsa US fans.

I must say i was very impressed with Vela and Dos Santos, plus Ochoa in net. It's a talented side who will i'm sure give us fits at Azteca as always. Gotta remember tho that nobody from that big win over Spain last month was on the field today. But they'll be back next month. ;)

Yeah, and also remember that not ALL the big names were in for Spain that game, but the US still "TRIUMPH" nonetheless. Gimme a break, a wins a win.

Gameweek 1 Total: 32 (Provisional)

going good so far, baring teams keeping cleansheets, as a few of my players have points for not letting any goals in!

still 3 of my players yet to play (Arshavin (captain), Owen, Berbatov)

my big names, should get me some points, hopefully

22 provisional. Got rid of darren bent, drogba and shawcross yesterday. Genius John well done
