999 emergency!

it was not the emergency switchboard but years ago when you had to call the operator to get a number a friend of my mothers took a call from a very polite person, all please, thank you, would you be so kind to. The caller wanted put through to the local police station, so the call was patched through, the police man answered, just as the friend was about to hang up the caller yelled loudly "f*** OFF!" and hung up.

That's brilliant....

My friend was working on the police switchboard (for work experience) and a somebody from a rest home(?) rang saying that a man had got stuck in a commode, he had to tell them what to do until he was out!
There was another one which was much better but I can't remember it
