  • There is a screening house that plays art/avant garde films in Chicago called Facets...(773) 281-4114....http://www.facetsvideo.com/asticat

If the producers are reading this, maybe they can contact them for a run here.

  • There is a fantastic cinema in Manchester called the cornerhouse, you can go to their website here:

    http://www.cornerhouse.org/

I'm not exagurating when I say they probably would show 'My Life with Morrissey' there if you contact them.
It is probably the best cinema in northern Britain, and as well as showing the most interesting new films they show all kinds of offbeat films from around the world.
They recently showed an incredibly obscure, hour long documentary about an American morrissey fan who went on a pilgrimage to manchester, in a double bill with another short film about the Smiths.

My Life with Morrissey would sell out- And you often get all kinds of interesting people from the Manchester music scene attending cos it's such a cool place(A mate of mine saw Apocalypse Now there a few years ago, and Shaun Ryder and Bez were sat next to him!)

I'm sure Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke would be up for it...

  • I'd also love to see it here at our fantastic movie festival (I know, I know, it's not the first time that I mention that, but I guess it's always worth trying in the name of culture).

The name of the festival is Fantasporto and it takes place in the city of Oporto, Portugal, and its 24th edition will take place in February/ March of 2004. It has a quite good reputation in terms of fantastic movies and it's been playing a good role inside the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation
(more info about the federation at http://www.melies.org/frame_press.html).

In case you're interested, please check the website
    http://www.fantasporto.com
and drop a line to the organization to know more about the details of the festival.

    Cheers :)
