I hear that Morrissey's been at his BBC Sound Effect LPs again. It's rather a nice engine sound but does anyone see any significance? Maybe it's used simply because it's a nice sound. Fits with the Bud Ekins 'Triumph' motorcycles T-shirts the band have worn. Very leader of the pack.

Don't know the answer to your question on the significance, but I love it when there is effects or background dialogue thrown into his tracks.

Speedway made me jump the first i heard it "bbrrrrrRRRRRRRRUUUUMMM"

my first thought was maybe it is that old one... Indian, that is featured on the bigmouth strikes again sleeve with james dean. and some youtube videos of indian engine sounds quite similar.

I think its meant to signify the fact that Moz has "traveled all over the place" as per the lyrics
