thats awful another record shop closing , i thought it would last as it was specialist ... i would rather see zavvi and HMV go down the pan

I didn't know they were on the cover of Oasis "Morning Glory* record *searches to find copy to look* Very cool

-soloists told me to check out Sister Ray's when I visited and wanted to find a cool record shop that sold Smiths/Moz shirts. Y'all sent me on a mission, thanks So the day I had to myself, I trekked thru Soho to find it. It's a cool store, but they only had one XL "Queen is Dead" shirt ...... disappointed!! The clerk said they used to carry a lot more, but that no more were coming in (foreshadowing foreclosure? perhaps)

Has anyone noticed that Joy Division's "Sister Ray" sounds almost 100% different than New Order's version, and neither sounds like The Velvet Underground?

Welcome to the future though. I would expect everything to be digital by 2018. With greater storage capacities and faster network speeds developed, the CD and DVD will eventually be phased out in lieu of one touch one click storage and access instantaneous media.
