6/10. Its just ok. Nothing better nothing worse.

Another of the numerous thoroughly mediocre b-sides from the Quarry era. Although, it's not as bad as some people make out - there are worse b-sides from this era, that's for sure - but still, a pretty poor showing.

Nevertheless, if "That's How People Grow Up" is anything to judge it by, this will rate as stellar compared to the A-sides from the next album!

A slummy six.

My least favorite Morrissey song. Not completely without any good points, but just, overall a bad song. I don't mind the lyrics so much, it's Morrissey's voice that sounds horrible to me on it.

Some of Morrissey's best 'post-wilderness' songs were on Who Ate Me Curry b-sides but this flipping well wasn't one of them! He was really scraping the barrel with the last cupla singles.

Friday Mourning, Walk Tall, Daddy's Voice, My Life, The Never Laid (that's the never played) Symphonies; splendid songs all. But Slum Mum? Bag o shite!

I love it.I found this quite a english song Its A kind of deflection on single parent council estate mums who have lots of kids just so they can claim as much benifits as possible usally in england called chavs.

I don't know it. There should be an option on the poll for  (never heard it)
So others who do can be astonished we don't. Can anyone post a song snipet for this slum mum?

a 6

one of his weakest b-sides from QUARRY area

never really got in to it, had it on me playlist for about 2 weeks in that
time, and since than never ever listened to it again.
too predictable, too dull, not inspiring, like I wrote about lot of ROTT
songs,'10-ina-a pack, automatic pilot songs'...

next!
