This is the best song Morrissey released during his "rockabilly" phase - and it was especially good live (which was rare for the Lads back in those days). It's not especially deep or important - it's just a fun, energetic little song that always brings a smile to my face. An 8.

boring. but I like the video, and the lyrics. 7.

Video ok, lyrics ok, so it leaves only music to be boring?:)

"We're so glad that you've finally decided"
10 from me. Absolutely enjoyable.

I gave it a 6, the music is cool and I do like the video. Just don't like the words, seems kind of lame.

an 8 +

my aboslute favourite in that time, i don't listen to it often past years.
It's song which definately would make his set better, cause live it's great.
Witty and funny lyrics, upbeat, the rock'n billy-roll sound.

was this the first song demood in the studio with the Lads? or first
single with the Lads [Boorer/Whyte/Day/Cobrin]?

great tune, i gonna put it on inmediately

This is exactly what I was going to say ;) A song that ALWAYS makes me happy! :D

I find the lyrics very funny, but the music isn't strong. As with the majority of Mark Nevin's compositions it has no tune to hum.

I'm giving it 7/10. I really like the qwerkyness of the song. I liked that whole rockabilly era stuff.
