Moz by numbers. Awkward lyrics, bland music. Still, it's one of the best songs on Kill Uncle... which only goes to show...

I do raise it up a point or two for the lines, "Give me a drink and make it quick or else I'm gonna be sick all over your frankly vulgar red pullover. Now see how the colors blend." Who else, I ask you? Who else???

6, 6, 6.

Err, 10.

I promise to give it a rest. I'm silly and ill today, so I sneezed this one a ten.

I actually quite like this song. 8 out of 10. It's a joy to hear a Morrissey single that has the (at least slightly) unconventional arrangement that the keyboards and strings bring to this. Not a bad choon either...

The Morrissey singles generally have too many vague indie guitars (and I know the musos will chastise me for using the term 'indie guitar' but you know what I mean!).

i like this one, i liked it as a single and on the LP. Also it is quite amusing. I have never felt the need to buy a red pullover!

Lead single off the "Kill Uncle" project, gets a 6 for me, a nice pleasant choon, but not one of his classic choons or am I being too picky?

I actually really like this song. 9 :)
The lyrics sounds like he's just venting away, after having 4 drinks. Its good :)

an 8

very good song, and single from underesthimated album Kill Uncle
Musicly and lyricly it fits, it's the only song on Kill Uncle where Langer&Winstanley let it pure, as if it's a 1 take shot...not like lot of others
on Kill Uncle who're overprodruced

An 8 for me. Once again lyrics only Morrissey could write and get away with.

an amusing piece but average overall. remember thinking it was about a relative when first released due to the "our frank" title:confused: 6/10.

Better than most of "Kill Uncle," true, but that ain't sayin' much now, is it? I gave it a 4.

Pretty dire,really.

How on earth can this be regarded as "PERFECTION" by anyone is beyond me.
Pretty sure that even Moz wouldn't think of it as perfect.Of course,I could be wrong.

But,seriously, perfect can only be used very rarely in pop music or,surely,it loses its meaning?

RIght off to give the Mr Blobby single a ten out of ten in the list of best ever pink, inflatable, annoying, twat icons who come from Newport Pagnell list...
