i like this song and i give it a 7

This is a new song for me, i only recently purchase it. I really like it, I also think it be a good track to be a cover version!

Where can I get this?
Seems to be missing from my collection

This song is quite weak lyrically I think, but the music is nice and upbeat and Moz sounds happy so that earns it an 7 from me.

"Let the Right One Slip In" (like its contemporaries "There Speaks A True Friend" and "Pashernate Love") is one of those rare Morrissey b-sides that actually sounds like a b-side. The music is okay - nice and peppy - but it's the lyrics that I find particularly dull and dreary. The best thing that can be said about this song is that it inspired the crew badges for the Your Arsenal tour. I give it a generous 6.

This is a brilliant song! What is wrong with you guys?!
It's upbeat, witty, optimistic and melodic, has some fantastic zingy guitar lines, and a vintage ad-libbed outro from his royal Mozness!:)

And it has the dullest lyrics ever!

Yeah, this thing is saved musically, otherwise it's nothing special. A 5.

I like it, it's catchy. An 8 from me (fkn hell, I feel like I'm a judge on stictly come dancing or whatever it's called. Only with better clothes and cigarettes)

You know, this is pointless. Are any of his words worth less than a 10? No. Especially these, especially now, for me. Damn, damn, damn. Can we go to 11? 15?

"And when at last it does, I'd say you were within your rights
to bite the right one and say, "what kept you so long?"

Great ending to a catchy, upbeat song with a bit of humour and a nice message. 8 from me.

No, I'm not kidding. These are words I need to hear right now. He always has something that helps, you just need to find the right song.

Well, I was really talking about your question whether any of his words are worth less than a 10. I can think of quite a few off the top of my head:

Grammatically Awful:
"I love ya I just wish you'd stay where you is"
"We knows when the school bus comes and goes"

Awfully Vulgar:
"Stay home, be bored, it's crap I know"
"I see the world, it makes me puke"
"Thicker than pigshit"

Weirdly Awful:
"Take people in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, just spare me"
"Well, could it be, he's only got one knee?"
"You slipped right through my fingers, no, not literally, but metaphorically"

The Bono Obvious Lyrics Award:
"You were a boy before you became a man"
"I've had my face dragged in fifteen miles of shit and I do not like it"
"They are they and only I am I"
"The only one around here who is me is me"

The 'You Can't Rhyme Bar With Bar' Award:
"I will be in the bar with my head on the bar"
"On returning, I can't believe this world is still turning"

And I'm sure there are many I'm forgetting too! Not all his lines are 10s.

^^^ Some of my all-time favourite lines amongst that lot.
