After 16 years, the whole thing is complete now.
Here are all of the "Singles To Be Cremated With", compiled by Mozzer in an article called "Headful Of Heroes" in the NME of 16 September 1989.

Well done C.W.!! I have been looking for "Don't Take The Lovers From The World" for years myself.

A quote from Morrissey that made me chuckle

It is from the article at
http://motorcycleaupairboy.com/interviews/1992/slitz.htm

that was referenced in another posting on the topic of "Singles To Be Cremated With" compliation.

"Do you still buy a lot of singles?
"Absolutely. The question is if not seven-inch singles with perfect two-and-a-half-minute pop songs are the best thing life has to offer. By the way, could I keep the list you brought? It’s always so nice to be reminded of my excellent taste.""

"It’s always so nice to be reminded of my excellent taste." how utterly classic and pure Morrissey!

and these:
"Maybe it’s an important call? I ask.
"Nothing’s important," Mozzer says and the phone gives up.""

"What do you think of Electronic?
"Nothing. I think nothing of them. That’s my only answer.""

I supppose i'm going to have to get broadband now aren't ?!

Congrats CW. You didn't need Brian Matthew to play it for you after all, but should he do that it'll be in tribute to your efforts.

Oh, I'll keep checking that program! Maybe they'll play a "clean" copy & if they do I'll record it digitally. It'll be great hearing that song played on the radio, anyway.
BTW, some time ago I posted this http://www.morrissey-solo.com/discuss/index.cgi?read=274854

Do you have that? It's a very nice listen. If you don't have it I can upload it for you.

Ah CW that's a gem indeed and I know it virtually word-for-word.

>"It was like doing Widdow Twankie in Pantomime or something". -doesn't he sound awfully young?

I have have 2 copies already though. The first (incomplete) was made for me by a friend when it was originally broadcast and the second was sent to me by the very helpful Mr de Whitt. Thank's anyway.

Me too, love every word of it -- even the secret huffs & puffs on his ciggie.
