In the middle of a stormer gig earlier this evening in Whelan's Dublin, The Power of Dreams played THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT.

Power of Dreams have reformed to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their classic album IMMIGRANTS, EMIGRANTS & ME.

Catch them in Cork, tomorrow Saturday and in Dublin again on Sunday in Whelans.

Must check out Power of Dreams.

Also in Dublin last night, Damien Dempsey sang 'Factories', as hand-picked by Morrissey for 'Songs That Saved Your Life', in The Good Bits, all proceeds of the gig going to a homeless agency.

I appreciated this one, Maasai, even more -

they have played it several times on this tour. The cover is fantastic like everything Craig Walker does.

The quality of Power of Dreams' b sides would bring shame upon almost any band of the last two decades, none of which could write a song as good as "not enough" or "had you listened" even if they tried.
