Someone sincerely needs to rip all the b-sides and compile them as a single .rar file. I've created the directories in my music folder for all 3 singles and they are hungry!

I don't get it, why doesn't he release at least My Dearest Love on CD as well? Would have sold a lot more copies this way!

Yes, it will be the only song from the Morrissey discography that has not been released on cd.

Although it will definitely be popping up on some comp in a year or two

Really, who knows. The whole one week availability is so bizarre and releasing a b-side on vinyl-only in 2008? Perhaps Decca could have released an eight track version with all the songs on it? I'm thoroughly confused by Decca's marketing, and as another poster pointed out, in the past the U.S. version would have contained all the tracks on one release of the single. This staggering of releases, ala "Greatest Hits" in the U.S. and U.K. was bizarre, now this. Merck seemed to good job handling Morrissey when he was the head of Sanctuary, but once Morrissey signed with Decca there have been numerous questionable marketing moves.

Back to the point of this thread, if some kind soul has a copy of "My Dearest Love" and "Drive-In Saturday" please post it. When my copies arrive, they'll make excellent paper weights as I have no way of playing them. Thanks Decca!

I wouldn't hold my breath for a US release. Maybe there will be a Japanese one, they have released b-side compilations before.
