I think the draise train speaks for us all when he says, " Who the @#!!! is Robyn Hitchcock ".

Robyn Hitchcock is an excellent singer/songwriter who has been around for quite awhile. Solo and with his band, the Egyptians, he's recorded some great music. You may want to check him out sometime...if you're a fan of literate pop music (and you obviously are), I think you'd like his stuff. There is a single-disc "Best Of" available (on A&M records, if I'm not mistaken).

Robyn is a very talented song writer, singer and performer, he is like morrissey in many ways, both of them have more to say than any other artist in the lime light, though the industry neglects them. Try and get your hand on the song "Madonna on the Wasps" and you will be addicted to robyn's music, as we are with morrissey's!
