From Zeke:

Polak, a relatively new band which has come from the ashes of Adorable and the Bardots, has placed two Smiths Albums in their top ten. The Smiths came in at number six, and The Queen is Dead came in at number nine. This info can be found at their website.

Anyway, the mention comes at a time when they are recording their new LP. Thought fans might be interested as Polak is quite good.

Polak are quite good. They have a record called 3x3 compiling the 3 single releases.

With a name like Polak, I highly doubt they'll get much airplay with all the political correctness in the radio industry.

Polak, 'quite good'? They're f'kin genius!! I could not recommend this band more highly... every Smiths fan in the world ever should listen to '2 Minutes 45', and maybe 'Last Orders' as well. Beautiful melodies and the most amazingly heartfelt voice I've heard in a long time.
