    • The sad part is that they mostly look like Vanilla Ice. There's a huge difference between a quiff and just a big wall of hairspray.

      Morrissey himself looked splendid in '85.

  • I'm delighted for fans who've crossed half the world to get to Salford Lads Club and the 50th gig. They are to be admired.

    I doubt whether any of our haircuts, figures or wardrobes would stand up under close scrutiny, so please don't all be so mean so much of the time.

  • Yes, we salute you for making the effort...at least the birthday weekend concerts went ahead and were wonderful, so you didn't have a disappointing end to your ocean-crossing travels.I hope you all had a fantastic time and got some good memories to take home with you.Also the weather was great in Manchester compared to what we normally get (and have got today-Rain!)
