  • Hey! Sorry you guys got rescheduled. Come up to New York. Tickets left (only $35,55,75)and if you don't wanna drive take New Jersey Transit from Trenton. You can take Septa at 30th st station Philly. It's very cheap but try to get an express or it takes forever! But cheapest way to get from Philly-NYC and the train stops right under Madison Square Gardens. Hey for a $100 you can get here and back, a ticket and even a slice of great pizza!!! See you all Saturday. Let us know if your coming! We'll help in anyway! (I have seen Moz in Philadelphia and New Jersey alot and you guys rock!!!!)

  • By chance last night (Thurs 28th June) I turned on the radio (BBC Radio 2) and Morrissey's very first national broadcast was being replayed. (Marc Riley's Time Machine). Morrissey was being interviewed by David 'Kid' Jensen and was talking about his life and the forthcoming album 'The Smiths'. It was truly, truly wonderful. You can hear it too from:

  • It was amazing watching this and seeing how much Morrissey has grown as a performer. Not that he wasn't great in the Smiths, but his singing and stage presence are just so much more powerful today. How many artists can say that twenty some odd years down the road?

  • where Moz gets hit in the eye with a flower and then during This Night Has Opened My Eyes, sings "And I will never see again" ?

If so, think it's Derby Assembly Rooms.

  • It came on right after blondie crown jewels and I had no idea is was coming! Thw show was from Derby -- Anyway, incredible early, raw footage of Moz and amazing how his mannerisms then are still similar to those today. He has always been an outstanding performer.

  • at 8pm on the west coast. I just set my DVR :)

  • He had sky high hair back in the old days. Though it was good to see the old show and hear the old songs I thought the performance was a bit dull. I know the group was young, but Moz's standing on one foot and spinning wasn't the best of his performances. And Marr barely moved from his spot on the stage the entire time, and what's his name bass player didn't move at all. Not very inspiring. Up until the end, it seemed the crowd was more interested in throwing flowers at old Mogsy than enjoying the music. Now at the end, That was a stage invasion! Was that commonplace back then?
