  • wow, if this is true, a few weeks of US dates in Feb/early March ending with another appearance at SXSW would essentially make the ROTT Tour end in full-circle fashion.

    Lets hope this is the plan..... and then some time off and perhaps back to the studio???????

  • I would think that if Morrissey was appearing again, he'd at least get a mention in this article since they did such a good job on reporting his whereabouts last year:

To accommodate his schedule, Townshend will speak "early evening" Wednesday, March 14, says Flynn, but play some version of his and Fuller's "Attic Jam" songwriter pulls the next day. Besides the widely reported Stooges, other names swirling around SXSW 07 include Rickie Lee Jones, David Byrne, Emmylou Harris, Nettwerk CEO Terry McBride, and Booker T (the musician, not the Houston-born pro wrestler, unfortunately)."

  • It is such a waste for him to come here during sxsw. The only people that get to see the show are the badge holders and they are quite expensive. The majority of people that have them are record comapny people who could care less about seeing Morrissey. Play for the real fans. I waited two hours last time he was here and did not come close to getting in the show while 400$ badge holders got in. They didnt buy those badges to see morrissey they bought them because they work in the music industry.
