  • Don't even take mention to this!. Cold War Kids album isn't even that good, Gnarls Barkley came before Belle & Sebastian, The Life Pursuit is the best album of '06. Morrissey should of made it to number 2, what about 'I'm From Barcelona' - Let Me Introduce My Friends.
    Midlake? Of Montreal? The Be Good Tanyas? The Postal Service? Hot Chip? Emily Hains & The Soft Skeleton? Cursive? Annuals?. For God sake, what is going on?. It's as bad as the bloody NME.

    Can't disagree with Cat Power or Jeremy Icke.

  • I think it's odd that Swan Lake would get honorable mention, but Sunset Rubdown wouldn't. And Destroyer's Rubies? Personal preference probably. Hard to argue with Band of Horses as album of the year though.
