  • Depechemode.com also says that they've received a promo of this record. Does anyone who has secured a copy want to share the Suedehead remix? I can only imagine that it'll be awful.

  • If Depeche Mode is not included in album, why is this in Depeche Mode News?
Too bad they are pushing the album til January. Maybe they want to add more songs.

  • There's gonna be some trouble
A whole house will need a major cleaning
And the animals I fuck in the house
Will recline on an analyst's couch quite
    Soon
    My arse cracks a fart
    And in the usual way
    Empties the room

    Tell all of my friends
    (I don't have too many
Just one Nazi with split personality)
    Paul, Freeyourself and iseeyou
    Searched for diapers
    Wind up nowhere
Spotty the dog - raised to be raped
It was tired again- I tried again, and

    Now I am satisfied
    Now I am satisfied
    And I just can't explain
So I won't even try to

    Paul, Freeyourself and iseeyou
Join my party, change my nappy
I'm Irene "Jihad", a proud member of the Hamas
I'm Irene "Jihad", a proud member of the Hamas
Expects to marry a Muslim terrorist
Ah, but Hitler I loved you
    I peed again
    I pooped again,and

    Now I need some changing
    Now I need some changing
    And I can perfectly explain
    But You'll run yelling "POOH!"

    Could you change my ?
    Could you change my ?
    Will you change my ?
    Could you change my ?
    Could you change my ?
    Ahhhh ...

    Now,where the hell is Paul?
Now, where the hell is Paul?
    Something is coming up
So I'll run towards the litter box
    Box...box....box...box...

  • Call KCRW (Score:0, Redundant)

I know that Jason Bentley has a copy of the album so I'd call KCRW and request it during his show. I can tell you it's not a "dance" remix. It's very orchestral with strings and a slow drum loop. The main instrument is Moz's voice - it's really cut up into a unique vocal collage.

It must have been a very good lay.

    Strange.

  • Prepare yourself for a possible (and I do say only 'possible')letdown with this new album of Moz's. Indeed, I think even those of us who wanted a change from Alain and Boz may lament their relative lack of involvement. Jesse's credentials are mediocre indeed - a short, unsuccessful stint with the Chili Peppers, gutiarist to Alanis (true session work if ever there was), but, most importantly, co-writer in Splendid, where his work as composer is lavishly described by AllMusic as being "moderately tuneful alt-pop" that "isn't too remarkable or original". Oh dear. Hardly fills you with anticipation for the next record, especially when Morrissey says that the record is "in the same vein as You Are The Quarry". Have you no other ideas Moz? Another album of dirge pop-rock awaits us, methinks, and another year of looking back fondly on the magnificence of Vauxhall and I. And it could be that there'll not even be a 'First Of The Gang' to save the day since Alain isn't contributing much. Boz's Quarry contributions, meanwhile, were mostly lacking and failed to hit the soaring heights of 'Jack' and 'Speedway'. Morrissey should drop his grudge and call Frank Black - at least he is capable of something genuinely inspired when he's on form, and he would certainly shake up Morrissey's sound. I have a bad feeling about this new record. Sorry. Prove me wrong Jesse.
