Also I was under the impression that contractwise he goes as a package - WITH the band (and that was one of the reasons that it took them so long to land a new record deal).

I have a good feeling in my heart about this album; Morrissey seems to be in top form: he's happy and very proud of his work. That's exciting. I'm excited for him and the decisions he's been making recently. He's been doing some different things with his talent, and I think that's great. So what if this producer has worked with some crappy bands? That doesn't mean that Morrissey is lumped with them! We gotta give it a chance. Believe me, I'm not too crazy about The Cure's new producer, (yeah, I hear boos from the crowd. Oh well...) but going in a different direction sometimes is refreshing. Sometimes the same ol' same ol' gets a bit old. Granted, some things are classic and should never change -- Moz's hair style, for instance, is his trademark. Change is good; it further defines a person. Anyway, I've made my point. Moving along...
I'm looking forward to May!!! Woo!!! Bring out the kegs!!!
