Looks like you can see the final version of the YATQ cover art at
Sanctuary - Morrissey news.
(Update: 04/16 15:15 GMT: Larger image at Amazon, link also from Torr.)

Also from Torr, "audio coming to official site 'this week'" and the video 'very soon' according to Sanctuary.

  • I never liked that picture, but now it looks more cleaned up and refined.

I like the way the text is written.
    Yes, much better.

        • For the last five years or so he has been talking of the band in terms of "WE are completely ready to make an album" and adressed the audience from stage with stuff like "we are what's left of Morrissey" and "hello, we are Morrissey" or "we... is... Morr-i-ssey".
Also I was under the impression that contractwise he goes as a package - WITH the band (and that was one of the reasons that it took them so long to land a new record deal).

"Morrissey, you are the Quarry", as if he's being told that.

  • I'm really enjoying this gangster persona. The whole suit-and-tie thing with the tommy gun is just so kick ass. Gangsters have always been interesting throughout culture, American culture especially, so to embody that idea on an album cover is classic.

I have a good feeling in my heart about this album; Morrissey seems to be in top form: he's happy and very proud of his work. That's exciting. I'm excited for him and the decisions he's been making recently. He's been doing some different things with his talent, and I think that's great. So what if this producer has worked with some crappy bands? That doesn't mean that Morrissey is lumped with them! We gotta give it a chance. Believe me, I'm not too crazy about The Cure's new producer, (yeah, I hear boos from the crowd. Oh well...) but going in a different direction sometimes is refreshing. Sometimes the same ol' same ol' gets a bit old. Granted, some things are classic and should never change -- Moz's hair style, for instance, is his trademark. Change is good; it further defines a person. Anyway, I've made my point. Moving along...

I'm looking forward to May!!! Woo!!! Bring out the kegs!!!
