Morrissey to create Moving moment - Manchester Online

POP enigma Morrissey is set to become Manchester's hottest summer concert ticket.

The former Smiths frontman has been signed to bring the spectacular four-day Move music festival at Lancashire County Cricket Club to a climactic finish on Sunday, July 11.

His date follows Madness who top the opening bill on Thursday, July 8, along with Ocean Colour Scene. The Cure and Bury band Elbow will play on Friday with the Stereophonics and The Pixies on stage on Saturday, July 10.

As confidently predicted by my good self on March 22nd Move Festival 2004 is ON!! The Mozmeister will headline the Sunday 11th July. Tickets are 30quid a day or 85 nicker for the whole weekend and available from the usual suspects. The rest of the line up is Thursday 8th - Madness/Ocean Colour Scene, Friday 9th - The Cure/Elbow ("Happy Day" obviously!!!, Saturday 10th - Stereophonics/Pixies. Support hasn't been confirmed for Morrissey's Sunday as yet..... keep 'em peeled!!!
