On this unhappy anniversary what do I stumble upon whilst looking up TV Personalities lyrics, but this:

MP3's of Moz AND Weller slagging off Dan Treacy and the TVP's. I knew there was some reason I liked them, them being the Television Personalities. Also up for perusal is Dan's glowing tribute to Morrissey called Another Rainy Day In Manchester (must have touched a nerve) [lyrics] and Dan making some onstage mischief, calling Paul Weller from Belgium. That Swell Maps cover is hot shit too, by the by.

  • I recall a few comments made by Dan about Morrissey during this recording, but I always thought it was an expression of his admiration. I specifically recall him insterting Morrissey's name in a line of their song "Picture of Dorian Gray." I'm now thinking it was done with tongue in cheeck. Anyone have any info on their relationship?
