Norwegian daily newspapers have recently written about Norwegian writer Frode Grytten (who has written a book called "Dublin" and one called "Pop songs"), and his short story collection called "Bikubesong" ("Bee cube songs" [i suppose]), which this Autumn will be staged as a drama at one of the three heavily state-founded insitutional theatres in Oslo. The book's first short story features a character deeply involved in Morrissey's music, and several single lines of his lyrics are frequently quoted in the text. In the drama, Hans Rønningen will play the role of Morrissey, and Smiths and Morrissey song will be used to tie the different stories together. Even if Morrissey is not mentioned in the book apart from in the first story, Grytten comments that the entire book has been written with Morrissey in mind, or under the influence.
