  • DC is the prototypical Emo band. Lyrically they don't take any chances. They sing about terribly trite things and attract fans that require little mental stimulation.

    I like the name Dashboard Confessionals. It takes me back to a time where I would sit in the car with my girlfriend and we would just talk about anything and everything for hours and hours.

    Sadly, the songs don't follow up with that creativity.

    I hope DC isn't on the bill at all locations. I would hate to have to compete for front row with a bunch of Emo kids. I just might have to get violent with them.
