Does anyone know where I can find albums by Reavsey? It's a one man band I believe from the U.K. that I discovered on Myspace. I've looked on the recordstore u.k. & ebay sites but found nothing.

Hello

Yes Reavsey is heavily influenced by Morrissey/The Smiths amongst many others including early Bowie and Lou Reed and The Clash in particular.

Although not a copier of any other artist, Reavsey accepts that the above have been a big influence on his song writing style.

I recommend the track "Leysdown Sunday"

Some other very Morrissey inspired songs are...

"Where Theres a Song" (On Reverb and on Last FM "Ballads For Modern Life" album...

"Eating Bhuna For Brocklesham" (Reverb and Last FM Big Autumn Album)

"Exit" (Last FM "The Purple Shades Of Evening" album)

Sites as follows (Last FM Is the most extensive, Reverb has some the songs with Lyrics)
