View Full Version : Political bigotry and deranged hatefulness
Theo October 28, 2008, 04:32 AM P.s. I know you probably aren't interested but I'm now prepared to let you know which of your mods gave me the mod password all those years ago, it wasn't GU as you assumed btw!
So, one of these moderators has given the moderator password to preferred trolls. Shocking! And you're keeping this info in your back pocket for blackmail purposes? Why not blow the whistle on the corrupt moderator?
I'd like to know who it is.
Moderators like Bored issue me infractions for such B.S. as posting a quote of Samual L. Jackson from the movie Jackie Brown that just happened to contain the N word but was in no way, shape, or form "racist". That was the same mod who gave his support and defense to a thread about "white trash" -- a VERY racist thread because it attacks people specifically because of their skin color (in addition to their economic class). This same moderator reported me to UncleSkinny because I linked to a satirical article written by an Asian-American about a certain phenomenon that I thought fit a certain user (and, of course, it did fit him). Again, that was not racist. But why would I ever get a fair shake from Bored (someone so far on the extreme left that he considers Obama too conservative, too pro-business, too pro-capitalist) or UncleSkinny (someone so bigoted and intolerant of people who disagree with his untra-leftist politics that he has stated he hopes people who disagree with him SUFFER and DIE! (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showpost.php?p=276027&postcount=2)(*)).
They should police their own ranks, if some of them are giving out moderator passwords to trolls.
(*) Here's an example of UncleSkinny's political bigotry and deranged hatefulness:
Re: I am saddened to report the old bat thatcher has been admitted to hospital
> for something trivial it appears.
I'm not sad. I'll dance on her grave singing hallelujah when the evil bag finally croaks.... I hate her and everything she stands/stood for.
Note the sexism from UncleSkinny here, too. Sexism, of course, is as evil as racism.
He will dance on the grave of the evil "bag" when she croaks. This he posted when the retired Thatcher was in the hospital. Someone whose big crime was being elected and enjoying support from the people. But if you disagree with Skinny on policy, you deserve to suffer and die. He will dance on her grave. She's an evil, old bag.
Just as he gloated to me, in private message, that he had found a pretext on which to ban me, falsely accusing me of ists and isms. Check your own fucking head, Skinny. Your sexism, hate-mongering, bigotry, and intolerance is appalling. You're gonna dance on the grave of the old bag? SICK! Yeah, I'm quite sure Skinny would ever be fair to me, given his proven bigotry against people with differing political views.
Police your own ranks, you moderators who tell me an avatar of a cute little doll who is bowling (fitting in with my sig) is some sort of "violation". Meanwhile you guys are giving moderator passwords out to your favorite trolls! Laughable.

bored October 28, 2008, 02:23 PM Bored (someone so far on the extreme left that he considers Obama too conservative, too pro-business, too pro-capitalist)
Let's set the record straight.
Here is my voting record:
1988 - Bush
1992 - Perot
1996 - Perot
2000 - Nader
2004 - Nader
2008 - Nader
Note, I have never voted for a Democrat and have actually voted for a Republican.
Wasn't it me that said just yesterday that anyone should be able to have a surface to air missile because if the government can have it so should the people?
I don't know if the vote is public in that thread but I voted to keep gun laws as they are.
Read my posts about Obama in the "crazy" thread.
About the only thing I agree with on the "liberal" agenda is the right for women to choose.
I support getting rid of the IRS and switching to a national sales tax that is fair for everyone. Clothes and food would be exempt as would anything else that was a necessity.
I support getting rid of the two-party system, the electoral college and PACs.
I support weighted voting, run-off voting (if done right) and proportional representation (like a parliamentary type system).
I support your right to make as many racists comments you want on any website you run or any website that allows that from its contributors.
I support your right to say whatever you want about me, I just ask that you form your opinions on the entire body of work rather than your disagreement on whether or not your posts were racist.

In other words, you haven't voted for a realistic candidate for 20 years. Good job.
bored October 28, 2008, 03:13 PM In other words, you haven't voted for a realistic candidate for 20 years. Good job.
That is correct.
However, I would rather vote for the person I truly believe is best suited for the job than vote for "Best of the Worst".
Over time, as more and more people get tired of voting for people they don't really like, I hope the tide will turn. If it does not at least I know I tried and I voted my heart.
There are a lot of people who say "I would vote for someone else but they can't win." It is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I just wish people would vote for candidates they truly believed in.
I think a good option on the ballot would be "none of the above" and if none of the above wins the parties have to send new candidates.
EDIT: This is really getting off-topic. This was really to show Theo that he has improperly labeled me a liberal so far to the left it defies definition.

Nader stood in as a write-in for "none of the above" in both the 1992 New Hampshire Democratic and Republican Primaries and received 3,054 of the 170,333 Democratic votes and 3,258 of the 177,970 Republican votes cast. He was also a candidate in the 1992 Massachusetts Democratic Primary, where he appeared at the top of the ballot.
:)
ps: my 1st legal job was as a canvasser collecting donations for Ralph Nader's Consumer Protection Agency :D

PLEASE don't vote for Nader. You're hurting America and throwing away your vote, plus allowing a possibility that someone you don't like might get elected. Nader needs like 5% I think of the vote to change anything, and as with previous years where he had even more of a chance, he won't get that. Please make your vote count, it doesn't with Nader. Voting for Nader does nothing to get rid of the two party system, it's not the right way to do that.
I support getting rid of the IRS and switching to a national sales tax that is fair for everyone.
That's the most unfair tax scheme ever. It unfairly punishes the lower and middle classes, because they spend near 100% of their income, and thus get taxed on near 100% of their income, even with your exclusion, while the upper class spend and are taxed on a much much smaller percentage. A simplified pure income tax with some exclusions would be way more fair. Sales tax is painful for stores to calculate, and is a disincentive to spending, which is the way we grow and stimulate our country. It's the opposite of a stimulus package.
jamescagney October 29, 2008, 02:10 AM my turn:
1992 Perot

2008 Obama
So it's YOUR fault Bush is in the white house and our country is in the crapper. Did you believe the lines from Nader that there's no difference between Bush and Gore or Kerry? Boy did that turn out to be wrong wrong wrong. And note that after 16 years of voting independent, we still are not one bit closer to eliminating the two party system. How many years does it take to figure out something is not working, and is hurting our country to boot?

Theo October 29, 2008, 08:36 AM This thread was NOT created by me. Once again, one of the moderators created a thread made to look like I created it when I did not.
And do these moderators understand what a defamation it is to falsely accuse a person of RACISM? Apparently not. Already members are telling me I've been "convicted" of "racism". Just like Morrissey has to deal with, because of NME scum. UncleSkinny, BTW, was the person who invented the smear circulating the Internet that Morrissey is an "anti-Semite". He saw some sort of "skull cap" subliminal message in one of Morrissey's print adervtisements. You can google that to this day and the defamation of Morrissey as an "anti-Semite" lives on on the Internet. No wonder Morrissey said in his last interview that he doesn't google his name. UncleSkinny actually had me going for a few days, until I realized UncleSkinny is insane. But we saw how quickly he leaps to brand people with the false and defamatory charge of "racism".
I've mostly stayed clear of UncleSkinny ever since I saw his hateful and sexist messages, and it is impossible that he could ever be fair towards me. It was he who invaded my private message box, as a volunteer SoLow hall monitor. I've never sent him a single one. Apparently he considered it "racist" to link to an Asian-American's rather funny satirical essay about a cerain phenomenon I can't name because no doubt I will be falsely banned if I did, even though it isn't racist. And it was Bored who told me it was "racist" to quote Samuel L. Jackson from the movie Jackie Brown in an entirely non-racist fashion, while he approves of threads about "white trash".

I didn't say he was reading my private messages. He invaded my private box with the false accusation that Bored had reported to him. Bored being a person who has invented racism charges in the past. I don't invade these two people's PM boxes with accusations, despite the various ists, isms, and other offenses they are guilty of.
It is Grim who says a moderator gave out a moderator password. Aren't you worried about who that is? It's one of your colleagues, abusing his/her power.
Not sure why you moderators keep creating threads made to look like I created them when I did not.
It would be for the best if you found a moderator who could be remotely fair towards me. I'd be happy to conform to the dictates of a fair moderator who has no bigotries or malice against me.

The culprit stopped coming here long time ago.
It had been dealt by David which does not worry him anymore.
You should stop whining about past events in here and move on.

Past events? Grim posted this YESTERDAY!
I find it interesting that one of you moderators decided to make a whole thread about this (falsely making it appear that I had created this thread, when I did NOT) but when I reply in this moderator-created thread falsely placed under my screenname, you tell me I should "move on".
This thread would not exist but for one of you moderators who created it. I'd only be posting about gun control or Morrissey's upcoming album right now.

But while we're here thanks to the moderators who seem to find racism everywhere they look, is UncleSkinny sorry he pushed an accusation of Morrissey being an anti-Semite to the point where the accusation made front page news on this web site? It was - if my memory is correct - UncleSkinny's pics of Morrissey's print advertisements that made it to the front news page, yes? That front page which the NME and so forth all read before they interview Morrissey. That front page which Morrissey has had his lawyers threaten with defamation lawsuits.

Grim is no ally of mine. If I was anything at all to him, it was a weather vane: If I said one thing, he felt the opposite must be true. But he has been a big part of this forum since well before you came on the scene. What does it say when the new SoLow cannot abide Grim? That he is banished forever? Over some little rules?

Find the post where I actually said Morrissey is an anti-semite, and I might start taking you seriously. As I recall, I scanned, like I do with many, many other articles, a page from a periodical and posted it here. This was after it was pointed out by someone else. I believe I said it didn't look good, which it didn't. Now - go and find me the actual posts, because saying "Pushing an allegation" doesn't actually mean anything. I feel a little put upon being chased about stories from a long while back, but, if it makes you feel better, post away. You do realise you are doing here what you accuse others of doing - false allegations. If you were in the UK I'd be entirely within my rights to sue you for claiming I made those allegations - which I did not. You can feel pleased with yourself you got a response. Crack open a beer.
