Hahahaha, this is a classic active learning application. I've written a few of these myself, and it's hilarious to see how addicting they can be if you craft them the right way. It saves the programmer a hell of a lot of work. :D

not really since some of the words i come up with (because some words, the right ones, have somehow been termed "off limits") have nothing to do with the pic. for instance, sanjaya popped up so I used the terms 'garbage', 'sucks', 'off key' etc which, while true, do not accurately describe the photo.

Ah, but outliers like that are factored out of the equation. Each user can also be given a trustworthiness score, so if you do that kind of thing too often, your answers will be given less weight. :D

I figured those are words that have already been matched enough, or something. It's nice when you get a whole set of pics without any off-limits words.

It was kinda funny when I got a match with a terrible racist slur. (I just typed it out of curiosity.)

Anyway, I find myself insulting my partners in my labels when they can't seem to type, say, the word "kitten" when the pic is of a kitten. I just had a pic with no off-limits words and the pic was of a boy/child/kid. This idiot made like 15 guesses and never got kid, boy, or child. I looked at his labels after and it was, like, "small person," "little guy". He probably did that shit on purpose.
