these are all good.
I was going to say centipede because pf his poisonous claws/wit. "The bite of a typical centipede can be very painful for humans"
also, he's been around a while. "Centipedes have a fossil record dating back 420 million years"
he's sexually ambiguous or whatever. "Centipede mating does not involve copulation."
his actual diet is a matter of discussion "What centipedes actually eat is not well known because of their cryptic lifestyle and thorough mastication of food."

http://i30.tinypic.com/1571vys.jpg http://i26.tinypic.com/w8ryqd.jpg

Also, he is from the 80's.

HA HA HA!! That is fucking HILARIOUS, thankyou so much!!
Once I was watching Moz performing "you're The One For Me Fatty" on stage, and I was thinking to myself, you know, he really does look a lot like an ostrich. (but in a nice way, of course). I will try to find the photgraphic proof of this one day.

And I'm sure Moz wouldn't mind having a COCKATOO, geddit?

YES, MOZ is a Centipede. You are the WINNAR of this thread. He DEFINITELY DEFINITELY is a cenitpede. It makes perfect sense.
Moz's mating rituals do not involve copulation either, usually it involves him and a hairdresser, as the hairdresser touches Moz's hair (and Moz reads a magazine), Moz's genetic material is transferred into the hairdresser's fingers via his scalp. The Hairdresser then becomes pregnant with Moz's genetic material, and five years later this hairdresser will yawn in a listless sort of way. This is how Moz reproduces.

Ha Ha! So true! Look at his pouty lion face! If only they would do a new version of The Wizard Of Oz, with Moz as the lion, Steve Coogan as the tin woodman and Shaun Ryder as the scarecrow. Oh, and Lilly Allen as dorothy.

It makes perfect sense cos they are both very fussy eaters with pretty bland diets.
If only the panda's two fluffy little ears met in the middle of his head and formed a quiff. Actually, the panda looks a bit like Robert Smith.
Maybe Moz and Smith could get on better if they were both pandas.

Moz is no common tabby, no matter how lovely they are. He's a bit more rarified than that.

In fact, here is a picture of Morrissey as a small boy:

And here is Morrissey today, elder statesman of making really smart pop music and chasing bits of string in his spare time:

aww which interview was that? :) I don't remember that one...

From "Happy Now?" (2006) by Andrew Male, on page 197 of "Morrissey in Conversation: The Essential Interviews":

Later, at the graveside of Keats in the Protestant cemetery, prior to the photo-shoot, Morrissey lingers over the gravestone inscription (relishing the line about 'the malicious power of his enemies') whilo a trio of benign feral cats, part of 300,000 gatti now protected by Rome city council as part of the city's 'bioheritage', pad contentedly around his feet. 'Do you know how to tell if it's a genuine tabby?' he whispers. 'They have an "M" marking on their forehead.'

After reading that I was overjoyed to find that 2 of our 3 cats have the "M" on their forehead! (The other is a Russian Blue. She's snooty, but I love her just the same). See? Being a Morrissey fan is educational too!

Although, I also want to get another cat and name it Moz too. I dunno it just REALLY seems like a good name for a cat. Dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I took in a kitten a couple summers ago who was grey with an M on his head. I wanted to name him Desi after an alien in a book (because he truly looked like one), but felt compelled to give him an M name because of the marking. I did neither - so that his "permanent" caretaker could name him.

Great to see this thread still going, but I can't believe nobody's done the obvious one yet -- the shot of Morrissey in Linder's "Morrissey Shot" book with the sunlight coming through slats making him look like a zebra (doesn't she even mention that in the "Importance of Being..."?). His quiff is especially equine in that shot, too.

Moz is no common tabby, no matter how lovely they are. He's a bit more rarified than that.

In fact, here is a picture of Morrissey as a small boy:

And here is Morrissey today, elder statesman of making really smart pop music and chasing bits of string in his spare time:

I'm sorry, I know this shouldn't be done, but I wanna prevent this thread from going into archive... I'll try to come up with something soon!

This thread was posted by a troll, no need for bumping. :(

I'd rather get rid of this, someone will start another one.

Kewpie, excuse my ignorance, I've seen the troll word but I'm not too familiar with it. I take it it's a non-welcome member.
However, I thinkit's a damn good thread and losing all the photos posted here would be sad.
Am I missing something? I mean, maybe it was started by a troll but a lot of non-trolls posted after.

Yes, 95% is posted by non-troll people, but keeping this makes the troll proud. :(

Who cares? This isn't thread-of-the-year material, I don't know what is.

I must be really lost. I don't see how it matters how proud a troll is (he's probably not even watching anymore) if a lot of people enjoy a thread.
I vote for keeping it alive.

Seconded!!

I wouldn't have even known it was started by a troll if Kewpie hadn't said anything. Not that I care either way. A troll started it, but it's been a good thread. I'm not sure how 'he wins' by having a thread continue that was harmless to begin with?

Back to topic, 'knowing' him and having/knowing cats, Morrissey is definitely a cat.
