I used to hear that left-handed children in school were treated differently because they weren't "normal". We all know that there is no such thing in life as normal. Sounds like it could be true, people are very strange creatures.
I think I used to be left-handed, but my parents saw it as incorrect and made me switch. Well, at least that's what my sister made me think.

I believe the word "sinister" comes from the Italian or Latin word "sinistra" meaning left or left-handed.
Over in this shithole of superstition, there is a special word for left-handed people to define them from right-handed ones.

Are you serious about the spatial awareness thing? I've never heard that before, but I'm always being told (lately by my driving instructor) that I'm not good with all things spatial. That would perhaps explain it, but what's the science behind it?

I will have to search for studies. I'm going on things I heard years ago. I cant validate the statements but if they are true I would not be surprised. Left handedness research will have to be my next project after school ends may 19th, lets bring this topic back from the dead at that time, don't forget!

PS I have ADHD too, and I can't tell you whether being left handed or ADHD makes me a not so great driver, but I CAN tell you that learning manual helped a lot- its cut down my accidents that were my fault to zero, knock on wood. It helps my spatial perception because it takes me a little longer than an automatic; it helps my ADHD because I contstantly have to shift so it keeps me focused.
