Lucky you, in London this is the first proper snow in 2008, about 1.5~2cm.
Easter Sunday 23rd March around 2pm we had bit of snow, but melted in an hour.

Expecting this crazy weather all week, the 'storm front' has been sitting on top of us for awhile... seems that this weekend's Blues Fest always has to contend with hot, hot heat and rain. It doesn't stop people tho, but it's one of the things that stopped us this year.

Our new dormers are not sided on our house and we were getting water coming in at our window during yesterday's storm. "The roof is leaking"... That Phil Collins song has been in my head all day. This one. For HIM and judge ;)

Expecting this crazy weather all week, the 'storm front' has been sitting on top of us for awhile... seems that this weekend's Blues Fest always has to contend with hot, hot heat and rain. It doesn't stop people tho, but it's one of the things that stopped us this year.

It's unbeliavably hot in my room. All I've got is this little fan that I lay down next to with my laptop to stay cool. The time I spent with my window closed was torture. It cooled for like, 5 minutes after it finished storming and now it's back to super hot. :mad:

It's unbeliavably hot in my room. All I've got is this little fan that I lay down next to with my laptop to stay cool. The time I spent with my window closed was torture. It cooled for like, 5 minutes after it finished storming and now it's back to super hot. :mad:

I agree completely. When it first got kind of hot around us (Sunday 6/1), I freaked out. The heat gets me angry easily and I have to tollerance for it. If there wan't AC in at least some parts of my house on Saturday I would have jumped out he window. Boo heat!!!! :mad:

I hate that stifled feeling, even when I'm holiday (In Spain/Portugal/Turkey or wherever). I can stand 2 weeks of shockingly hot weather (alleviated by regular dips in the pool and freezing showers at 2am), and then I can't wait to get back to England, the cool air and the grey skies :o..that is...
