Practising Troublemaker December 13, 2007, 08:06 PM Is Moz-Solo your only forum retreat? I am part of the Paddy Considine forum; I love the guy (NO, not in that way) and he actually visits the place, I have spoken to him :) My mate also placed me on the frickin' Lily Allen forum when I was blissfully unaware, I think my account still exists but never have I strolled by that way.
You lingering anywhere?
Love PTxx.

I used to be elsewhere, but now I'm mostly here. I'm not sure why, either.
EPbabe December 13, 2007, 08:09 PM I'm on community live journal, morrissey_shot. If that is considered to be a forum...
esheh195 December 13, 2007, 08:10 PM My life is unmanageable enough keeping up with this forum. :D
I was a member on a wrestling forum :o:p...but I drifted away when I found out it wasn't real.

You're right. This forum is far too addictive, I need no other addictions....:o
esheh195 December 13, 2007, 08:23 PM you means wwe isnt real?
I KNOW! I was shocked too! Apparently, it's scripted!?!?!
I really have lost all respect for the industry after learning this shocking news. Now I have to change my career plans. I was thinking about becoming a wrestler but I couldn't afford the steroids.
The Internet was around when you were 10? :D
No, but it was around when I was 28. :o
You're right. This forum is far too addictive, I need no other addictions....:o
Seriously. LOL I spent most of my day hitting refresh on 'New Posts' instead of doing anything even remotely constructive with my day at work. hahaha!

I hit the refresh button in general :o Pathetic, isn't it?

Looks like I need to write a Greasemonkey script (http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showthread.php?t=79510) to auto-refresh after all. Does everyone know the secret to staying logged in even when you've been inactive for more than 15 minutes?

I don't know. It just happens. Or maybe I'm never inactive for 15 mins.... :o

My inactivity rarely stretches for more than 15 minutes. But it has happened on occasion. How do I stop the system from logging me out?
Edit: *scrolls up after posting comment, notices what EPbabe posted about not being inactive for more than 15 minutes* D'OH!! :D

Yeah, but that's a secret, too.

Why do that yourself? Al Swearengen would have a flunky do it for him.
But if you insist you can always go that route...

Yes. I regularly post on these artists' forums:
The Electric Soft Parade, Bernard Butler (he writes on it :D and answers questions, what a lovely guy), Brett Anderson (he too writes on it sometimes)

(*looks on internet for picture of Al scrubbing blood stains out on floor to go with the intended lame 'al likes to clean up his own mess' joke, can't find it, gets pissed, goes for the lame joke runner up*)
luckily, Chucky....erm....I mean, Doc Cochran made her that leg brace so she can stop dragging that damn leg and gets to cleaning.

Well, it's not as if even a quarter of the conversations here are about Morrissey, so why should anyone else's forum be any different? :D

Kewpie and the Other Topic forum keeps me here. I am determined to get a smile out of her.
However I am part of another message board but mostly as a lurker.
prue4ever December 14, 2007, 01:17 AM not any moz/smiths forums, but the Franz Ferdinand Fans one! im more involved there.

You have lofty goals. Pointless, but lofty. I admire your determination.

"These things take time"
nogodsnomasters85 December 14, 2007, 07:21 AM I occasionally post comments/tirades etc. on Democratic Underground, a left-wing political blog.
Cassius December 14, 2007, 03:45 PM I have my own forum but it is unused.
Patrick McGoohan December 14, 2007, 05:21 PM I have my own forum but it is unused.
:( That sounds really sad for some reason. :(
no one in particular December 14, 2007, 06:53 PM Kewpie and the Other Topic forum keeps me here. I am determined to get a smile out of her.
i bet kewpie smiles all the time in the inside...we just don't know it
:)
Corrissey December 14, 2007, 06:54 PM I sometimes go on DuranDuran and DavidGray.com but mostly all of my valuable time is 'wasted' here ;) One online addiction is plenty, thanks.
JoyDiv007 December 15, 2007, 04:53 AM I'm a member of MyREM where I have a ton posts.
Jose December 15, 2007, 09:11 AM I'm on a Prince-forum, dutch and german Rammstein-forum, Smashing Pumpkins-forum and a US-travelers-forum.
But all of them take up about 10% of my time, most of the time I'm on here. :)
vivabob December 15, 2007, 03:37 PM i find it hard enough to keep this one up to date let alone anywhere else are their enough hours in the day

I'm posting less on here these days 'cause I'm busy with Brett. But Moz remains No. 1, he means so much to me and yet nobody can write lyrics like him.
down_in_albion December 17, 2007, 06:46 PM The Libertines, Richard Dawkins and a couple of politics ones. Though I have nowhere near the post counts on those that I do here.
Skinner February 29, 2008, 07:13 PM I just joined one for Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright and on my very first post some a-hole snapped at me.
Never thought I would see solo as a safe place. I won't stray from you again. :(:tears:

Not Right in the Head March 1, 2008, 01:48 AM I just joined another music forum (not Morrissey-related) today, just to see how the other 99% live. Where nobody knows me, and where Kewpie is not a moderator...AFAIK.
oscillate wildly March 1, 2008, 01:53 AM I am 'folding chair' on Brumstix (regina spektor forum!). that and Solo keep me very content. :D
bagface March 1, 2008, 02:05 AM i used to post on the rilo kiley message boards, but not so much anymore. also, a waaay long time ago i did the weezer boards when they were really cool.

I was briefly on a Frank Black forum, but that was ages ago. No other pop music forums. I do like comment sections of certain blogs, such as my current fave blog called Volokh Conspiracy. When I'm either just browsing or actually posting in various comment sections of intelligent blogs I get encouraged. I see that many, many people around the world aren't buying into the B.S. the socialists spew. It has made me feel the world is not yet lost, and enough people have a clue out there for me to have hope for society in the Internet age - a time where socialist propaganda can increasingly be more easily and more quickly exposed and refuted.
