Thanks, Lilikoi:

If it's not too much trouble, could you post the track listings for each? It'd be helpful to know which ones contain songs I still need.

Cheers,
Jamie

well let me tell you all: this blog is a hell of a goldmine...there's plenty of downloads from many bands on there - and not everything on rapidshare - a lot of it works without hours of waiting. :):):)

God's Gift, the b-side to She's In Fashion, is absolutely brilliant. Fact.

Suede were such a great band. I now know better and I think they were the best band of the 90's in my opinion.

Thanks so much for this. Great stuff! Suede were one of the greatest 'b-side' bands of all time - after The Smiths, of course.. ;)

yes this song is on the debut album and it's my fave from them... the links were not labeled so I wonder if there is an acoustic version in there. I am not a Suedehead but I do like a lot of their stuff, particularly this tune. Wondering if it is a song among those links. No biggie but if so I would certainly d/l it! xoxoox

suparni, vol7 contains a demo version of "Moving".
The sound is not very good, and it's quite close to the album version. Brett's voice is a little strange (higher pitch than usual). Instuments, as far as I can tell are similar to the album version. I don't think I'll listen to it twice...

Hi. The link to B-sides vol.7 doesn't work for me - is there any chance someone could be so kind as to upload this on megaupload/sendspace/mediafire? It's the only B-sides volume I don't have.

Cheers

I'm addicted to that version. The drums sound better and so the guitar. Great song.

Does anyone have (and is willing to share) or know of a place online to obtain mp3s of two obscure Suede B's from the Attitude DVD (final single), We're So Disco and Head Music (Arthur Baker Remix)? I have every other release, but this one has been elusive.

Cheers,

Many thanks, Oye Terence! And thanks to whoever mod'ed my post over to this thread.

OT, any chance you also have Colours readily at hand? For some reason, the CD I had Campfire Song burnt on to does not have it.

Jamie

I have nearly everything except...

The piano version of The Living Dead
the single version of Europe Is Our Playground
The Black Session version of To The Birds (would also like the demo)

Anybody have this stuff? I have tons of Suede stuff to trade, if you want.

Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate the effort, but this is the official version; the b-side version that was later put on Sci-Fi Lullabies. The only difference is that it has a slight fade-in put on it and seems to be awash in some rudimentary reverb of some sort...but it's definitely the finished version.

Whoever you got this from labeled it "studio demo" and may or may not have been responsible for putting said effects on it...but it's really the b-side.

Thanks, though.

I have 4 demo versions of this song on my i-tunes. I don't know if they are "real" demos or not.
But here you go:

To the birds (demo) from Unhiped (5:13):

to me they sound fairly different, although i can't be bothered to listen carefully right now. how could have they cut some tracks unless they had all the single tracks (drums, bass, lead guitar and so on) for the song?

No, it isn't that involved of a chop job; they simply put some basic effects on the complete piece, the finished song. (Fade in, etc.)

Awesome, thank you so much. Megaupload is being difficult but I'll try again later, I've wanted to hear the demo for years. Do you have the non-Sci Fi Lullabies version of Europe is our Playground by any chance?

PS, if megaupload still won't work, can you post to sendspace? And by way of thanks, is there anything you are looking for that I might have? Blur, Suede, Auteurs, Morrissey...anything?

Sorry i don't have (or can't find) the non Sci-Fi version of Europe is our playground.
Let me know if the megaupload links don't work. I'll re-upload the demos to sendspace. No problem.
And thanks again for your Moz non-LP & live highlites compilation. A really amazing work.
