FYI: I just talked to tickemaster & thy're telling me that the 5 day package is NOT all on the floor. Some of the packages are in the mezzanine. This really sucks. I thought that the package deals were for the irregular regulars (the die hards.) Who in the hell wants to be in the freakin mezzanine.

my boss who has been to hammerstein ballroom many times, said it's easy to sneak into different sections, he suggested that if I go all five nights, at least once, see the show from the balcony becuase its such a great spot, but he just doesnt understand the moz...

I wish they would sell a combo: maybe 4 nights standing and 1 night seated or whatever combination. So we could rest our bruised bodies for a bit. :rolleyes:

Im pretty sure, you can go mingle, and grab a drink downstairs once your let in, and I guess, make your way over to the floor section discreetly, I'll ask my boss the legistics of it all on monday

Update! I talked with Live Nation today, and they are saying that ALL the package deals for NY or GA on the floor. Tickemaster had giving me wrong information. I'm sorry for causing any stress to anyone but I was just passing on what Tickemaster had told me.

I asked the guy at Live Nation and he would not tell me. I said "so maybe a couple hundred or so" and he again said he was not allowed to give me that information. They know how many will be available but are unallowed to tell the public. I don't understand why.

Update! There are indeed only THREE (3) Maximum Morrissey tickets that will be open to the public, and I pulled some strings and got them reserved so that only Osiris, Appleblonde, and Some Totally Random Mozz Fan will be allowed to get them.

I feel sorry for anyone left out but you do not want to know what I did to get this done for my pals.

Sorry I can't make the shows guys, do enjoy and tell Kristeen I will marry her whenever she is ready....

I just got 2 of the 5 day passes for the floor. It was easy as pie, and ticketmaster's website hardly slowed down. I'll have a feeling these aren't going to sell out as fast as us diehards feared they would.

Without this package, inconvenience charges would've been per-ticket (one charge for each night), which in my experience would've been close to $20 per ticket (about $100). $20 seems cheap in comparison (but is still ridiculous--don't get me started!).

I think the convenience charge or some bs was still there...My package was $250 because I elected UPS shipping to be safe which was $15.00..The package itself was $210.00 so there was $15.00 or so extra in fees.Wow sold out in like three minutes..I'm so stoked!!!!

i opted for the print your own tickets option, and it seems that they are just five individual tickets as they would be for any other show. there doesn't seem to be any indication of them being part of the "maximum moz pass," so i'm wondering how this pass the line thing is going to work. i can easily see the next issue being hammerstein saying they know nothing about people with the 5-day pass being let into the venue first each night.

Blimey, trying to buy tickets for morrissey is just as exciting as seeing him. My heart is still racing, my hands were shaking as i tried to enter my CC details, trying not to get it wrong, and kept thinking of the 2 min rule when they give up your tickets ... But I'm coming to New York baby!!!!!! My mind was going into overload during it. I was struggling to remember my name!

Man. I was reloading my browser every 20-30 seconds starting at 9:55am. Tried to buy tickets the second they were available on my screen. I got 'none available' before 10:01am.

if you try too many times, TM will lock you out of tickets thinking you are a scalper. i had this happen to me before when trying to buy MSG tickets...which is total bullshit considering how tickets are released, one sometimes has to refresh the page many times.

people should keep on trying--today and tomorrow--for the 5 day pass.

but damn..only 200 passes??? that's low and with an 8 pass maximum allowed on TM...totally unfair. hell, less than 50 people purchased passes probably. WHY??? Can Morrissey's name once be attached to something and his fans not ask why?
