actually i cannot afford it-a friend has to borrow it-iam pretty poor-always on the edge moneywise-unemployed actually athe moment
but there is no other way to get the money-but i hate lending money from friends-this is the first time but i havre too see him cant wait 2-3 years...
and i guess i need some assistance here.i am afraid that ticket buying oneline goes wrong-i never did pay with a creditcard and never did buy a ticket for a concert in a foreign country..if i fly over and for some reason ticketmaster fails i am f.....

I couldnt understand whý a few months everybody in the US did panicking as he canceled the dates due to illness...the US as well as the UK (of course) gets the most concertsvisits -so the chance that he postponed the dates and you are able to see him are much thigher than in other countries(like mine) and that did happen

well i dont have to mention australia...but my homecountry gets a visit every 7 years...... it couldnt be the reception the receptionwas a good as everywhere else( on the last tour as well as on these 1991+99 dates)but i wont complain-thats just the way it is.
.as i saw the man himself finally in germany 2006 i was addicted and though i never thought iwould go to a concert that far away..when youre coming from small country you re not used to fly over such long distances to get to a concert as you n a from the US are used to(f.e.flying from l.a. to n.y.)

You have a very good point there considering that there is zero info about the 5 day pass on ticketmaster, and livenation only mentions it, but doesn't feature it as an actual ticket for purchase. I find that whole situation quite irritating.

Well GA shows are GA... so aside from a limit on the number of tickets sold in presale, there is nothing that can be held back.

I do know for a fact that for the two seated shows that have gone on sale so far (Waukegan and Merrillville) there were no holdbacks or set asides whatsoever. All seats were available at the beginning of the presale. In Merrillville, season ticket holders were given the chance to buy first- but as near as I can tell, they didn't even buy up all of the first two rows. I got third row at the beginning of the presale.

I hope this information can help someone in some way!

These people in customer service only have the information as shown on their computer screens. I've seen these kinds of things so many times in the past, where they don't know about any upcoming dates or whatever and surprise surprise... a couple of days later the info pops up on their screen and there you go!! It's not their fault, they can only provide information they see on their screen.
I think we need info from someone a little higher up at Ticketmaster. ;)
But I won't be surprised if the package shows up on Ticketmaster tomorrow or Thursday morning!

I talked with Live Nation earlier today and the guy told me that Ticketmaster will hear about the Maximum Morrissey package shortly. I asked if they will go on sale @ the same time as the single tickets and he said "Maybe so." In the the same sentence he said "The package deal may only be available at the box office." We all know that will not be the case. I suggest to keep checking on the Ticketmaster website for more info. I'm as impatient as everyone else. I coming from Dallas & I can't even get my airline ticket until Ticketmaster gives us the info and the airfare just keeps going up.

back in the late '90s i'd always find a lot of really cheap moz/smiths 12" singles at generation. their vinyl section went down hill at a point though, becoming less prolific and also more pricey, kind of like everything else in new york.

It is not advertised on the Ticketmaster web-stie but it is under additional info on the Live Nation web-site. Is Live Nation in the habit of advertising offers that will not exsist? Presale is 2 days away and some of us fans are now thinking that The Maximum Morrissey ticket is just false advertising.

What if the package thing disappears and you've missed the presale....

Bleeker Street Records is the best record store in NYC in my opinion. It also helps that it is around the block from Down the Hatch ... on of the homes of Atomic Wings... some of the best wings in the city.

thats what i was thinking too..presale only habve a limited amount on tickets on sale so we still get good seats on saturda so if the package deal does not pop up tomorrow i wait check and try to buy tickets they held the tckets backs and then release it to somoone other if i dont buy it if i see a friday that good seats are rare i will buy or i will wait till saturday fir the officuial start...and starting to buy and they dont offer that package deal to european then be it..but it would be interesting to know from you from the Us if you csan manage to buy it...i

You don't see the captcha page, you know, where they ask you to enter the text that you see in some box filled with squiggly lines or multiple colors? Try a different browser. Those captcha images are hosted by akamai.net, not ticketmaster.com, so if you're using Firefox with AdBlock, you may not be seeing them.

Sounds like speculators (i.e. scalpers). Try buying one, then watch the seller cancel the transaction.

Like I said, I was able to reserve 2 tix to the DC show, which went on sale at the exact same time as the NYC shows.
