Folks,

I'm new to these parts and desperately need help regarding concert audios/dvd's (not downloads/mp3's). I've been ripped off in the past (not by anyone here of course) and need a kind soul to help me find a reliable supplier. I'm especially after the legendary London Palladium show of 28th May (my 10th Moz gig since '91), and several others from various tours, and I'm finding the world of bootlegs a bewildering mess of confusion. Who's the Mr or Ms Big round here? My collection is pretty meagre so I can't even trade. Who can help?

Hello, Quite Shy.

You can get Smiths/Moz shows this way:

1) Request for someone in this forum to upload specific shows.

2) Download from http://www.smithstorrents.co.uk.

3) Download from http://www.akiraware.com.

4) Download from newsgroups (although this is hit-and-miss).

That's how I've gotten all my Smiths/Moz shows, since I don't do traditional trading anymore. I'm sure someone here has other ways of getting them too. So....Good luck!

Many thanks for replying, Rogdef. This is a good starting point. Though, as I don't have easy access to downloading, the old-fashioned formats of dvd and cd are all I can work with. So if anyone has the Palladium show, or has a list of various other gigs on these formats. I'd love to talk to you.

The akiraware site rocks! For the most part, the shows come w/ artwork. Being somewhat limited in my abilities to download & deal with audio files, I've been using sites that utilize mp3 as the format. Best of luck, quite shy!!!:D
