well I've done the dishes, tidyied & vacuumed the living room, taken Buster out for an hour & 20min walk. Now I'm trying not to get eccles cake crumbs on the carpet. After this lovely cuppa tea, then it's off to pick her-indoors up from work & the wee wan fi the afty-skoo club then I can put my feet up with a nice cool beer (if I've remembered to put 'em in the fridge eh?).

you supply the marigolds the mr sheen & the airfare & I'll be there in a jiffy :)

oh & whilst we were out I happened upon a ladbrookes so thought I'd see if the Brelsters prediction comes true & stuck a tenner on Sparky Hughes becoming the next City manager, it was 10/1 so if it comes true then it should pay for a game next season inc flights!
Reet th'eccles cake as gone & the tea is to the dregs so must dash!

I hate it when I do all the washing and then 10 minutes later the basket is full again....and the ironing is a never ending circle of HELL!

Nothing...and I mean nothing...is worse than cleaning the oven! I tend to leave mine until I can no longer see in through the glass door....I do have a tip though (its a bit dangerous admittedly) Get the oven really really hot. Then poor NEAT washing-up liquid on the glass door...STAND WELL BACK (protective clothing/goggles optional but recommended)...it does bubble and spit ALOT...make sure the kitchen is well ventilated throughout..... wipe away with a scouring pad (wearing very thick oven gloves and rubber gloves underneath!)....hey bloody presto...that door will be gleaming and you will actually be able to watch as you burn the crap out of the dinner instead of just relying on smelling the burning!

OUTRAGEOUS.......My faves to do housework ar the last of the Famous International Playboys......and Ordinary World,Come Undone and The Wild Boys.

I hate and loathe housework.Three kids, two dogs and the mess never ever ends.

I actually am quite old fashioned and have no probem at all fitting into an old stereo-type of little house wifey.....except most women nowadays are expected to contribute to the bloody mortgage and bills aswell and therein lies the resentment.

the more you explore me!

I hear ya, Hellie. I'm that 'woman nowadays'. I take it out on the housework. I usually bitch under my breath the whole time. Unless I'm singing "But I wont cry for yesterday, theres an ordinary world, somehow I have to find!! And as I try to make my way, to the ordinary world, I will learn to SURVIVE!!!" Housework is a bitch. Anything to make it less painful is most welcome. Like a cleaning lady!! riiigght

I would make a horrible housewife to be honest. I am vegan so that is what i cook and that's all I cook. And to make matters worse in the domestic dept, I am allergic to dust and dust mites in a terrible way. Gives me trouble breathing properly for days at a time and the doctor actually told me not to clean but to get a maid. Instead I invested in swiffers (dust free clean up things) but really, when i clean it kicks up dust and i have a reaction and it is actually worse when you disturb the dust. I basically cover my whole body and use a filter on my face and do a deep clean every now and then... but i hate cleaning and my allergy created negative associations with it - like improper breathing, suffocation, black pit of confusion and despair associations. I better start earning me some $$$ if I am gonna follow doctors orders.

Otherwise tomorrow is "trash day" so I put my old printer and a black hefty bag out on the curb. The next day is "recycling day" so then is when I will put the green bin out with all the cans and bottles and whatnot.

I am terrible at housework but one cannot keep trash and cans around because it disturbs the energy and is bad feng shui basically... at least it is for me, and so is forgetting to water plants so that is a big no no. gotta make sure they are happy.

Hahaha! :D Something similar happened to me a few years ago when I got allergic at the dentist to a substance called zinc-chlorid. The left side of my lips got totally swollen, I looked normal on one side and at the other side I had the lips of Pete Burns (yuck....). My h came to pick me up at the dentist and when he saw me from the other side of the street (a four-lane road), he could see the difference. And when we went shopping, people were all looking at me like "oh poor girl, this f...ing bastard beat her!". :D

haha! looks like my place, right down to the chair. I have a few chairs stacked like that.

anyway, my housework story. this week I got two days notice that the building I live in is being sold and that the manager would be walking through with real estate agents. since I conduct most of my business from home it hardly looks like a living space. it's stuffed with things I'm trying to sell, or have given up on selling or never got around to selling. it's not dirty but it's a mess.

So I cleaned and straightened for two days. I even took a day off work and stayed up all night trying to make it look good. In the end it was a good thing. I feel a lot better not having to walk around stacks of things. I'm going to get rid of some more items, and maybe have a yard sale.

I can sell things where I work, but if they don't sell while I'm there and I don't notice them missing I sometimes don't get paid. I thought of having a yard sale, but I don't want to do it by myself. That's no fun and I'd have to watch over everything all day. anyway, I got a lot of work done and it looks better and I feel better. I plan on keeping it this way and cutting down on a lot of things I have that I don't even care about.

it is always better once you get stuff sorted out, my place is a total tip, I can make excuses, working nights, needing sleep, dashing from work to my parents stuff like that all of them quite valid but I have had some time and been lazy (not new) so I am making some moves today to get sorted out. I really need a clear out as well, we have an oxfam near by so I tend to pass stuff over to them.
