Thanks for the demos! I have a few Monster Bootlegs, I'm not sure if they're soundboard? I think they were recorded from FM Radio broadcasts? While i don't have my copy of the Megatour anymore, i remember doing track comparisons when it first came out to "sweet adelaide", and they were identical... Another thing is, the Megatour is missing 5 songs from the tape boot of 1/22: Turn You inside out / pop song 89 / monty got a raw deal / begin the begin / Star me kitten.....while it contains 3 songs not played on 1/22: drive / country feedback / heron house. All 3 of these were played in Adelaide. "

I haven't listened to much of their stuff from recent years. I love their old classic stuff, I'm under the impression from what I've read on the net that their newer stuff is not up to par. Monster was a grower for me.

not heard any new stuff but im guessing alot of it will be like unused around the sun b-sides, but you never know. out of time is the best rem album ever. even the outtakes from the album are good not forgetting some of the greatest gigs ever were performed during out of time era.

I'm still deciding how I wanna do the videos. I just figured out how to put them on DVD, so if that would be easier than youtube, let me know! I haven't heard that other version of Jesus Christ, so thanks a lot for that! I have the 2001 Fanclub Single, and can send the audio/video in zip. I just gotta ask...the video is in quicktime format. Will that work? unfortunately, mp4 will only play on an ipod, or in itunes. As for the 2005 DVD, I ripped the tracks to mp3 some time ago, and have them on my ipod. However, I did it on another computer, and unfortunately don't have them saved. :-( I'll see if I can rip em again, and pass em along here. I can't tell you guys how grateful I am for all of this great stuff! It'll be a pleasure to help you any way I can. :-)

fraid i cant play mp4. mp3s/audio much appreciated REMFAN. my computers never got on with video lol. if the videos were upped on youtube though i could easily rip audio to wav then put on a cd and then rip from cd to mp3 and upload. thanks again.

Thanks for the early demos, just downloading them now,

I hadn't been able to find the live dates for the Dashboard stuff for ages, but I just thought I'd try again quickly and found it all right away! It was a taping for 'MTV2's Album Covers' where Dashboard covered the whole of AFTP and played some of their own stuff. It was at Arlene's Grocery, New York City on 25 November 2003. Michael appeared on those two tracks only. I think the mp3 rips came from the official Dashboard Confessional album 'MTV2 covers' released in 2004.

Will have more stuff to upload tomorrow hopefully, thanks again!

I'm currently trying to enlarge my collection of live tracks, but I'm not a big fan of the bootleg quality. If anyone can get me some rips from the DVDs, radio broadcasts, television broadcasts, etc. that would be great. I really just don't have a whole lot of stuff that's listenable from almost any point in the band's history apart from the b-sides they've released.

Ah well found out about the unknown live song i had, is it an original REM song or a cover do you know?

Also, for soundofthenorth, yeah i can upload the iTunes album, it's not amazing just interview clips with some normal album tracks and a handful of live versions exclusively recorded in a studio for the project, I can either up the whole thing, omit the studio tracks, or just upload the live stuff if you like, whatever suits you best.

Sadly I don't have anymore AFTP demos, to be honest I am a bit doubtful about the authenticity of that one i uploaded. it could be real but it was downloaded off the GIA WinMX server from the old Murmurs days- and there was always some dodgy crap flying around there... but who knows!

And yeah i will sort out my full trading list, just need to update it again and i'll post it here.

And to Etrue, I have Milton Keynes show and Dublin night 5 now so I'll get on with uploading those soon

i'd say its a deffo an original by them. sounds a bit like romance i think. wonder why they never played it again thought it had room for impovement myself. thanks for the demo info aswell. yeah got a bit suspicious about the acoustic track aswell but if no-one can prove it wrong then it must be real i suppose. :rolleyes:

what a difference a day makes. thanks for the uploads will be downloading tomorrow morning as time is against me now.
making zips:
put all your mp3s in folders of 1 folder. then right click folder and press send to, then compressed zip, then name your zip/zips and upload. ;) took me a while to fathom it out but it is quicker uploading that way.

does anyone know why windows media player wont play/open the m4a. always had this problem can anyone resolve it for me? without downloading anymore software. would love to hear the evening bootleg uploaded kindly by Etrue

got one coming up for you. not really rare but i good one i have in the collection. also i'd say charleston 91 complete is a good acoustic boot to have, rock in rio 01, avalon 2003 (only have half of the boot but its the 2nd best gig of 2003). just depends what era you are into :).

To soundofthenorth: I think the .m4a issue you have is a software one unfortunately, I think the only way around it is to download another palyer if you can e.g. iTunes or GOM-player. Unless there is another way i.e. importing an m4a codec into Windows Media Player but that sort of thing is waaaay beyond me!

About the bonus songs on the Milton Keynes bootleg, I have no idea what dates they're from, they just came bunged on at the end like that (I actually won the whole thing on double CD- hooray!) and the title of this boot was 'Aural Pleasure' which explains the weird quote attached at the very end which I can only assume is taken from some movie/TV show...

Also, I have the full Avalon '03 show if you want me to up that, (I think that's the one you said you only have half of?)

That uppy was for Green and all the rest of you guys !! Does anyone have any good soundboard quality shows from the 1999 tour as an uppy ? I would love the Landsdowne Road, Dublin show from July 1999, if possible ! Anyway, beggars cant be choosers !! Any soundboard quality shows from the 1995, 1999, 2003 0r 2005 tours would be great !!! Any requests to me also and I will see what I can do !
