View Full Version : please ignore Zenith Nadir January 29, 2007, 08:16 PM Sorry, was testing my new sig. For some reason I can't delete this message. Moderators or whoever, you can nuke this if you please. DeliciousDemon January 29, 2007, 09:25 PM this is bound to be one of the most frequently viewed threads on this forum :D drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 09:34 PM ^^especially since I advertized it on the main page :D Telling someone not to look is bound to make them do just that (cc Zenith Nadir who named his thread "please ignore" :p ). Kuiper January 29, 2007, 09:36 PM This looks like a fun place to hang out and start arguments. DeliciousDemon January 29, 2007, 09:38 PM ^^especially since I advertized it on the main page :D haha haven't seen that but you're right, i can see people from the main board pouring in ! Let's hijack this and do something to provoke a 30 page discussion. Kuiper, start. chica January 29, 2007, 09:40 PM Knowing Kuiper, it's bound to be about sex! Kuiper January 29, 2007, 09:41 PM haha haven't seen that but you're right, i can see people from the main board pouring in ! Let's hijack this and do something to provoke a 30 page discussion. Kuiper, start. I would say something along the lines of: "Reasons to support your country even if you are displeased with your current government" "Why you are supposed to hate the sin but love the sinner" "Friendly and constructive scholarly discussion of the Bible" But for the sake of entertainment I'll roleplay and say: "Vegetabletarians are FAGS!" "America suks!" "I know Moz and he says you are all stupid dumbasses!" Kuiper January 29, 2007, 09:42 PM Knowing Kuiper, it's bound to be about sex! :o :D  DeliciousDemon January 29, 2007, 09:43 PM Knowing Kuiper, it's bound to be about sex! as long as we're allowed to have an abortion afterwards :p drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 09:44 PM This looks like a fun place to hang out and start arguments. As opposed to all the other threads on Solo? :p Also, I'm so proud, for once in my life I called a trend before it happened! i totally told you guys Feedback is the new Off Topic :) . Kuiper January 29, 2007, 09:45 PM As opposed to all the other threads on Solo? :p Also, I'm so proud, for once in my life I called a trend before it happened! i totally told you guys Feedback is the new Off Topic :) . You called it, sweetheart. ;) drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 09:46 PM I would say something along the lines of: "Reasons to support your country even if you are displeased with your current government" "Why you are supposed to hate the sin but love the sinner" "Friendly and constructive scholarly discussion of the Bible" But for the sake of entertainment I'll roleplay and say: "Vegetabletarians are FAGS!" "America suks!" "I know Moz and he says you are all stupid dumbasses!" These are all good, anyone? ;) Chica, I'm sending you to an ESP lab  . DeliciousDemon January 29, 2007, 09:48 PM "I know Moz and he says you are all stupid dumbasses!" This is how I've felt all day so I vote we start with this. Kuiper January 29, 2007, 09:54 PM This is how I've felt all day so I vote we start with this. It's already been done, in fact, a band was started in honor of it! drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:05 PM well this is disappointing :p . Kickstand January 29, 2007, 10:07 PM It is, I wanted to slate the US again and promote the Soviet Union. :( drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:09 PM Yeah, Communism rocks  . Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:10 PM Yeah, Communism rocks  . People have tried to pull that one me before to get a rise out of me. ;) drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:13 PM Hehe, you said "rise" (just filling in for chica :p ). drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:17 PM Will.... Not... Have... political discussions with Kickstand, for sake of sanity ;) . Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:20 PM Hehe, you said "rise" (just filling in for chica :p ). Is EVERYTHING sexual?! drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:22 PM Is Kuiper a Christian? (See what I did there? ;) ) Kickstand, why do your posts keep disappearing? It looks like I'm talking to myself! Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:25 PM Hey, fishy, coming close to 2,000 posts. Preemptive congrats! :) You, me, chica, and anyone else (robby?) should have a pseudo-contest of double entendres. The best ones need to work equally well literally and sexually. You know what I mean, how they make perfect sense both ways (another double entendre, in fact, a double entendre while talking about double entendres! ) and they are so obvious. Like you don't just a word with a sexual meaning on purpose, but where by stroke of luck you end up with one perfectly complete sentence with a literal and sexual meaning. drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:30 PM thanks! Ooh, that sounds hard (pun so not intended! :D maybe it's not as hard as I thought? ;) ). Chica would win by a landslide, though :) . Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:31 PM thanks! Ooh, that sounds hard (pun so not intended! :D maybe it's not as hard as I thought? ;) ). Chica would win by a landslide, though . I know, but it'll be fun no matter what. :D I would be too shy to use explicit words, so double entendres are perfect! ;) drunken goldfish January 29, 2007, 10:32 PM You're just full of surprises, you are ;) . Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:35 PM You're just full of surprises, you are ;) . Am I? I must not surprise myself living with me 24 hours a day. :D I know, I know, no one envies me. chica January 29, 2007, 10:41 PM I knew it would be about sex, eventually  :D as long as we're allowed to have an abortion afterwards :p Funny how this was ignored! Oh right, the thread title :p Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:48 PM I knew it would be about sex, eventually  Funny how this was ignored! Oh right, the thread title :p I chose to do so because the image of abortions (I chose not to use more literal and honest terms to describe it) is not funny and would bring down to the thread. So let's back on-topic of being off-topic. Why am I magnet to sex? :p Why does it always sneak up behind me and get in my way and manifest itself through me? chica January 29, 2007, 10:50 PM I chose to do so because the image of abortions (I chose not to use more literal and honest terms to describe it) is not funny and would bring down to the thread. OK, we won't talk about it this time  Maybe the weather thread? Just out of curiosity, is at least morning after pill acceptable??? Oh my god, it's Robby! January 29, 2007, 10:51 PM Just out of curiosity, is at least morning after pill acceptable??? i say it is Kuiper January 29, 2007, 10:53 PM OK, we won't talk about it this time  Maybe the weather thread? Just out of curiosity, is at least morning after pill acceptable??? I think the morality in question is already decided. The only debate is the science of it. Supposedly it is supposed to prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the wall of the uterus or something like that, but it could also just be used as a very, very early abortion. If it can be used as an early, early abortion, morality has already dictated the answer, but if it is not and is not much different from the normal pill, well that is up to science to determine everything about it. Time for humor: why am I a sex magnet? I want this answered! Can't the world just be a little more innocent and I can use words like meat and suck and hard and not be forced to pause for a second to control my laughing before I damage my intestines? chica January 29, 2007, 10:58 PM i say it is And abortion? Time for humor: why am I a sex magnet? I want this answered! Can't the world just be a little more innocent and I can use words like meat and suck and hard and not be forced to pause for a second to control my laughing before I damage my intestines? Kuiper January 30, 2007, 05:56 AM Thanks for a definitive response. Okay so have you thought of a non-candy name for your gang? Dave January 30, 2007, 09:17 AM I would say something along the lines of: "Reasons to support your country even if you are displeased with your current government" if you want to argue, I would say this language leads to confused thinking. I understand you're just substituting words that seem to have the same meaning, and I understand that it is just being careless, but I think the language we use to describe things influences our feelings and thoughts greatly. So I would have to point out that our "country" pretty much is defined as our government for most purposes, and that the problem I have is with the people in charge of our government. I am proud of our government in it's perfect idealized form. I also feel that there is a reason to support our government, our system of government, by sometimes choosing not to support or endorse or tolerate those that are currently "in charge" of it. I have to use the quotes because, again, we're playing with words here. The simple version is that I can completely lack respect for the person holding the office, but also respect the office itself. The dangerous thing is to equate the people with the office they hold and to somehow feel that you are going against your country, or to be allowed to be portrayed as going against your government, when you are actually against the people that are using the perceived power they have to invalidate our country and what it stands for. I believe I am more of a patriot than our current president is. Oh my god, it's Robby! January 30, 2007, 09:42 AM if you want to argue, I would say this language leads to confused thinking.
